  1. I can't say what just happened, but I have to change my pants.
  2. Well, you should have told me that to begin with. I can't really recommend either of them for you unfortunately. The hate burns too deeply. I would tell you to pick Georgetown on the basis that it is a better school than Louisville, but Louisville has a better tradition and better fan base. On the other hand, I can't tell you to choose Louisville either. I would be subjecting you to painful reminders of why Louisville is a significantly inferior school to mine and be forced to forever look down upon you, because I have never understood why someone would actually support that school. My suggestion: choose a new conference entirely. There are plenty of fine basketball teams out there for you to support; I just can't think of any in the Big East aside from UCONN.
  3. Well, if you're adamant about a Big East team, go with UCONN. They are competitive every year, and Calhoun always has them in the title hunt. Syracuse misses the tourney too often, and Louisville is filled with thugs. The Bible says it's a sin to root for Georgetown, and none of the other Big East teams are worth mentioning. Congrats, Muddy. You're now a Husky.
  4. Dude, that sucks.
  5. Depends on what part of Florida. It's a big state and north Florida fishes completely differently than south Florida.
  6. Congrats! Great fish!
  7. I hate it for him. He might be a sucker, but no one deserves that.
  8. I hate the early episodes. The new chick is hot, though.
  9. I don't believe the story listed the reason the children were taken.
  10. I'd say he was ahead. None of those guys ever played for Kentucky. 8-)
  11. Lamb of God... sounds tasty.
  12. Way too long. You can't expect them to read all of this. Shorten it up and keep it to the point. Remove the part about not being able to make the KY lake tourney due to financial reasons.
  13. Did anyone else watch (with glee) as Jodie Meeks dropped 54 points on Tennessee last night at Thompson-Boling Arena. Now, I know Kentucky thumping Tennessee is nothing new, but 54 points is kinda awesome. Welcome back, Wildcats.
  14. I'm not turning this into another catch and release post.
  15. Yeah, tell me about it. There's an attorney at Christine's firm that wants to go out on the water with me. Just gotta make the time. With St. Marks so close, I'd really like to work my in-shore techniques and catch fish I've caught before. I already got my flounder, now for redfish, seatrout, snook, etc...
  16. No, I don't think so. But the next lesson you taught me I'm passing on is how to grow long hair and look like a hippie 8-). Just kidding, bro.
  17. Yeah, I was surprised at her size. I wasn't expecting a bass to hit so close to the dam, especially considering today's weather conditions. But, I'm really happy for my friend, who couldn't stop thanking me for bringing him.
  18. The day started out innocent enough. I got out of class and decided to go fishing. Due to the recent cold front, I figured stripers were in order over at the Woodruff dam on the Apalachicola River side of Lake Seminole. I called up a classmate of mine that had told me he didn't know a lot about fishing and would like to learn some more. I thought it would be great to get some stripers and maybe some skipjack for catfish bait. My friend Daniel needed to relearn everything. I taught him how to tie his lure on and even had to show him how to cast a spinning reel. He had a big learning curve but soon got the hang of it. After throwing bucktail jigs and spinnerbaits out into the current for a while, we decided to move downstream about 50 yards where I had noticed some flooded timber. I started casting my spinnerbait into a particularly "fishy" looking area. Daniel soon got hung up and broke off his lure, meaning I had to retie for him. I gave him my rod and told him to fish the area I was fishing and to cast between two sets of trees. See where this is going? As I am retying his lure, I hear grunting over my shoulder and a call for help. It was Daniel, hooked into this bass pictured below. I lipped her and showed him how to hold her. He had never caught one this big. All I could do was laugh at the fish that could've (should've?) been mine. He asked me if we could keep it and I explained to him why that wasn't a good idea. I released the fish and watched her swim off, knowing that a new bass angler had been born today.
  19. Glad I'm not alone.
  20. I have. But seriously, I've seen the changing of the guard. Incredible.
  21. Guess I'm just crazy.
  22. If/when I see another ad for the Snuggie or Shamwow I'm going to go insane. That is all.
