How Do You Guys Stock Your Bank Back Packs?
So I fish the bank and carry a back pack, I have a Plano for terminal tackle and one for lures and spinners and such. But the rest of the time I fish soft plastics. That's my house to. I fish gambler swim baits, stick baits, and ribbon tail worms and trick worms. It gets a lil heavy but my question is how do you narrow down your selsction and colors. I carry up to 5 colors of each lol trying to be ready to pond hop the clean and dark water ponds. So what do yall carry and how do Ya decide on a full day of pond hoping?

Mixing Soft Plastic Colors?
Yeah there is always that also. I struggle with stuff like that since I fish a lot of trails and bigger park lakes. So I'm far away from the truck after a while. And I'm just that guy who has to drag the whole house..........ugh lol

Mixing Soft Plastic Colors?
So I know that mixing anything with white is a horrible idea. But as far as mixing greens and dark colors and stuff together. What's yalls opinion? I'm trying to condense my bank fishing back pack and wana cut bags in half and condense them so I can carry a max variety with less bulk and weight in my pack. I'm mostly talking gambler, and yum and culprit baits. No elastec tech stuff.

Scents Don't They Just Wash Off?
A lot ofm he yum and gambler baits I fish are scented already. But I've been looking into megastrike, hog tonic, and berkley. I get covering up our scent after we touch it but doesn't it just wash off after the first cast? Is it ok to mix a scent with pre scented baits?

Can Bass See The Color Red???
Had a day I was fishing a local lake. Fishing a flat cove crystal clear two feet or so deep. Small one pound bass where coming out of the cover and kind of starring and entertaining the idea of my June bug ribbon tail worm. But would not commit. I switched to another identical worm but in St. John's river red (red with blue specs) and it absolutely slammed it first pass by texas rigged. I have no idea if they can truly tell that's the first evidence I have. Was it the way I worked the worm, the color or action. Had I pist the fish off just as I switched and it finally hit it. Who knows! But bait colors sure do sell a ton of tackle lol!

Fishing Through Weeds?
I was just lookI g at them on yum site. It's the swurm! Very cool I fish a lot of nasty ponds like that here in Florida I may have to try some. But to contribute to the thread a good ribbon tail or sticks bait with a 1/4-3/8 ounce worm weight will normally finesse through matts no problem.

Clearwater Soft Plastic Colors?
So I've looked at the searches and articles. And I've been fishing some new local lakes I found that the water is insanely clear excelent visibility. In the dirty lakes and ponds I've been fishing, I use black/blue laminates, watermelon red, Carolina pumpkin with a chartreuse tail, and even black. I see a lot of guys go to lighter colors in Clearwater. Since I've never really fished it what is working for you guys?

Multi-Purpose Setups
I've got a 7' M/H berkley lightng Rod shock there $39 at Walmart regularly and make sure you ask for the two year replacement plan. It's $3. Great sensitive rods for the money. It compares excelent to my more expensive halo rods. And I also basically fish all M/H rods for my apinners, jerk and minnow baits, and finesse soft plastics and swim baits. I prefer the stiffness. Don't care for whippy rods.

Shortening Rod Handles
Used to do this to jig fishing rods when I pier fished for pompano a lot. Cut it off draught and a lil silicone or epoxy to hold a cane or walker cap on done right it looks nice
