Trailer Tire Pressure
I inflated my tires to 50 psi once and they got all kinds of warped on the tred to the point I had to put new ones on. The tire shop said keep at 35 psi. Have always done that sense and gotten good life out of the tires and a much smoother ride when pulling the boat.

best top waters this time of year?
There is a big difference in 58 and 68 man. If its 65 or higher then they should hit a topwater ok but anything below 60 and I doubt its time yet.

Team tournaments / Jacob Wheeler
Jacob seems like a great guy. I don't know him or have never met him but he has taken the time to like and reply some of my tweets when I have congratulated him. I'll continue to keep up with how he does. He will win a classic one day.

3/31 Full Moon
If you believe this sort of thing plays a roll - is this the one that starts it all? I have always heard that the first full moon of spring is the one that pulls the bass from the deep up into the shallow to begin the pre-spawn/spawn process. We've had cold weather here in WV up until this week. Water temp has been stuck in the mid 40s range for a month now. Today is a high of 74. Tomorrow will be around 60. Saturday is a high of 68. Water should warm up quite a bit over the next few days and with this full moon on Saturday I gotta believe that might be a day to be on the water..... What do you think?

No stank sandals
I have a pair of croc flip flops that I absolutely love. They are comfortable and they can get wet and have virtually no odor. I also have a pair of under armor boat shoes that I wear that are really comfortable but my feet sweat like nobodies business during the heat of summer and it causes them to stink up pretty good. I wear the crocs 8 out of 10 trips out when the weather is good.

New TM and Garmin Install Questions/Help
When I installed my garmin I had an older lowrance 4x mounted in the dash, one of the dinosaur units. I cut the power supply to the old lowrance and spliced in the new power supply to the garmin. Works like a dream. After one day out on the water with my new Garmin I couldn't believe how I had fished without one before.

new aluminum boat suggestions please
I got my 17’ Triton Aluminum with an 89 inch beam and a 50HP Mercury for $5,200 from a friend that wanted to sell it for pay off. It didn’t have 10 hours running time on the motor. The thing looked like it came off the show room. I wrote him a check for it on the spot. There are HELL of a deals out there you just gotta find the right one.

Clothing colors
I don’t think wearing bright clothes in a boat will have the same effect as it would from the bank. Most banks the fisherman is standing almost water level. If a fish is shallow it could be looking for bait at the shoreline and you could be a few feet away. In a boat, even guys who fish extremely shallow at the shoreline still keep their boats a good 15-25 ft away. Which would be easier for you to detect while swimming under water with goggles on, someone standing right on the edge of the pool a foot away from you or someone standing in a chair at the edge of a pool 20 feet away?

What's you're favorite flipping bait
Around most cover its the Rage Bug or Space Monkey. In really thick vegetation its the D-Bomb or Biospawn Vilecraw. Around timber its a 3/8 Tungsten Flipping Jig with Rage Bug or Rage Menace trailor.
-
Strike king rage bug
My best color by far is watermelon red flake. I pitch it on a texas rig with the weight pegged most of the time. Works great as a jig trailer too. Don’t count out the Rage Tail Space Monkey either. I’ve gotten bit a lot on days when the Rage Bug just wasn’t working.

Power Shot
I have them on my home lake in 8-10 feet, up to 13-15 on the edges of the field. 90% of my lake (220 acres) is surrounded by lilly pads on the perimeter.
-
Power Shot
If I'm flipping into a lilly pad field in 13 feet of water I can't have a 13 foot long leader though? There would be no way to flip that. Do you only use this rig in extreme shallow water, say 3 feet or less? Zona looked like his leader was only like 6 or 8 inches long.
-
Power Shot
How long of a leader to you guys use? Do you use a fluro leader for this? Or can you use braid for the whole rig. Also, is it harder to flip with the weight of the sinker at the bottom with the weight of the plastic a few inches above it?
-
Power Shot
I saw Mark Zona talk about the Power Shot Technique for flipping heavy cover. I have never heard of this but golly gee I bet you it would be successful for catching big fish. I've always just Texas rigged a soft plastic and pegged the weight when flipping lilly pads and other cover. Anyone tried this?
