I have the new energy and I absolutely love it! I know alot of people bash quantum but the new energy pt has been the best baitcast reel ive owned. I have the accurist as well and its nice. But if you got 150lbs id take a chance on the new energy. You wont be disappointed. And I was hesitant at first, but worth the gamble

I do it and from personal view I've never seen a difference. As posted before jigs and plastics and topwater I never do, but cranks, spinners, and w.e else i do use swivels. I catch plenty of fish. Just my preference.
