  1. Very sorry to hear. Prayers sent. Remember and cherish those great times.
  2. I just sent the pictures to my states Department of Natural Resources. Hopefully they have some idea. It is really not a big deal, I am just very curious, even more so now that I have seen other pics and no real clear answer.
  3. Wow, those are similar! I just found it weird that they are on both sides in exactly the same place. We don’t have any lamprey near here. I have seen sores on fish before and these looked healthy, just unique markings. Thanks for posting. Your fish looked similar with matching marks on both sides. That’s what is throwing us off. They seem too symmetrical to be random sores.
  4. I caught this bass last night and noticed it had these matching marks on both sides of her head. My buddy fishing with me said he had seen a post by another fisherman with a pic of the same thing and said this is some unique fish or something. Does anyone here know what this is? It is not a sore or virus. They are very symmetrical healthy looking marks. My buddy said like ears. We are both just very curious. Thanks!
  5. Unfortunately I haven’t jumped into the jig making hobby yet. I was hoping you sold the completed jigs. They just looked like a versatile jig. Thanks.
  6. I loved the Flippin Wackers hook for weighted wacky hooks. They had a very strong hook, recessed line tie, and brush weed guard. I still have a few packs of different weights, but still want to find a replacement. I really want a stout hook more than anything. I fish these on casting gear and like a strong hook. Does anyone here use a weighted wacky jighead with strong hook?
  7. I like the look of those. Do you sell em?
  8. Thanks for the heads up. Just grabbed a Lew’s SP for $111. Great deal. Wanted to try one.
  9. Many of the lakes fished around here with those “Chicken” jigs are bluegill lakes. Not Shad lakes. With todays technology, nobody seems to cast unless they see fish.
  10. Seth feider and others fish them very successfully in Minnesota waters with the predominate forage as bluegill or perch. He uses both white and the greenish with orange. I added it to use this year. Time will tell if it works for me.
  11. I think I am finally going to dive into the Japan market for a new reel. I found the best deal on Amazon Japan. Has anyone else used them before for a reel purchase? Digitaka also has them for a bit more. What are your thoughts on the Japanese market? Thanks
  12. Wow, Deephaven, that is BIG. My size 14’s are a pain to find footwear, I can’t imagine 16’s. I bought the stomp switches, but haven’t installed them yet. Waiting to see where my big feet like to position themselves so I know where to put them. Should get them put in this week I hope
  13. AJ, I have been looking at an adjustable aluminum hitch. I just wasn’t sure about them. Why did you pick Rapid Hitch? I haven’t had a big problem with rust, but like the adjustability, lighter weight, and no rust factor. Thanks
  14. Uno, that is funny. My last boat had a Suzuki 140 as well!! I hope I like the Merc V8 once it gets tuned in. I really like the boat so far. My tourney partner bought one a couple years ago when I said I wanted one. It was a great way for me to try before I buy!!
  15. That is what I thought Fellas. I have twin talons and thought that would give some drag, but not that bad. I also thought I would get about 6000 with the 19 on it. I really like the boat, but need it to perform like it should. Hopefully my dealer can get it figured out soon. Thanks for the info. I assume you all love your Lund Pro V's!?!?
  16. I agree. Thanks Big Rick. I hope we get it all figured out. I think it will turn out great. I was wondering that too. AJ said he is running a 21. The dealer is going to get some more time with my new friend!
  17. Thanks Junger. That makes sense. I had read performance reviews and my tourney partner had a pro v with a 200 Verado and I knew my performance wasn’t up to par. I have to contact my dealer. Hopefully we can get it figured out. I spent too much to not have it perform like it should.
  18. Love the boat. The storage is out of control. I keep telling myself to stop putting stuff in the boat. I really thought I should get more rpm and speed out of this boat, especially with only a 19. I will have to talk to my dealer and see what we can do. Thanks Yeah, my guess is motor height as well. I would have assumed way more rpm with only a 19 pitch prop. I don’t think I dare go lower in pitch. This is a new boat. I did the break in according to instructions. Varied my speed and hit full throttle for 1 minute every 10 minutes. Did this for 2 hours. No full throttle for more than 5 minutes for the next 8 hours. Hopefully. I get something figured out. The low rpm is my question. I will have them check for full throttle. I am getting some spray from the right side of the motor ( where the transducers are). I will probably have them moved up a little. Thanks
  19. Hey All, Finally had the weather cooperates and got some time out with my new boat. I put a Mercury 200 Pro XS on the 1875 pro v. I am only getting about 48 mph and 5000 rpm. It rips out of the hole though. I know that is not what I expected or what I have heard. It has a Tempest 19P prop. The motor is on the middle hole with two more on each side. Suggestions? Thanks, Fishingdad
  20. I have had success at times ripping it off bottom and letting it fall. You can really feel the vibration. Typically, however, I will chunk and wind while adding in some rod movement or reeling erratically. I use a 10,000 fish Yoto, Zman Razorshadz, or similar trailer with limited action on its own. I also use a 6x:1 reel to slow me down most of the time. I do prefer a glass rod with 17 pound fluoro. I have also used a moderate action composite rod, but I am currently looking for another Chatterbait rod. This is my most productive technique and I have caught the majority of my 6+ pound bass on a chatterbait so far. I usually have two tied on at all times. I can't imagine fishing without one. I have over 80 vibrating jigs of different brands, styles, and sizes. Love them.
  21. T-BIlly, Any more experience with the B-Hittay? Still haven't bit the bullet and bought another chatter rod. The weather here has sucked so bad I haven't had the new boat in the water yet for the break in. Let me know how it hauls in the big ones!! Even though we only have littler ones in MN. Thanks!!
  22. Thanks guys! I have to check these out. I want another SV reel and this sounds awesome.
  23. Where have you found the best deals on these? What is the difference from the US version? Shorter handle? Bearings? I just haven’t dove into the JDM yet. Thanks!
