Booyah Quality
I have a new one being sent out to replace that one. I sent a picture and immediately received a response asking for my shipping info.

Easy, I may have to take you up on that. What days are you free?

How To Fish The Ned Rig
While using it, I toss it out, short casts, let it sink and jiggle your rod tip, sometimes for minutes.

Well, I'll have to hope that at some point, there's an open seat for a day, or fish vicariously through you guys.

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Melvern is one of those places that are on my list to fish, but since I know diddly about lake smallies and am boatless, wouldn't know where to begin. You guys tore them up for sure. Does it just get better all fall or does it kind of peter out at some point?

Booyah Quality
I emailed them as soon as I got home and opened a Bob's '47 for my liquid refreshment. I'm awaiting a response.

Booyah Quality
The split ring failed. That's from junk hardware.

Favorite Small Crankbait For River Smallies
Rapala JSR5, if I'm fishing smaller water. On larger water, I'll toss SK 1.5s.

Booyah Quality
I was using P-Line CX 10lb. Ive not had this issue with any other baits. I'm looking to grab a few new baits next weekend when I run to town next.

What baits would you recommend? I have War Eagle available relatively locally.

Booyah Quality
I just bought two Booyah Blades in 1/4oz and fished one for the first time yesterday. After losing a BPS spinnerbait, I put on a Blade with a 4" Mister Twister white trailer and caught two fish immediately. The first one on it went about 15", but the second went about 11". After I unhooked him, I looked at my bait, the willow blade, swivel and split ring to attach those to the frame were all gone. I figure a spinnerbait should last more than two fish so I emailed Booyah to see what they say about it. This is frustrating. Have you experienced this?

Favorite Bass Baits
They are my go to as well, the exception is small shakeyheads on creeks for smallies, but I'm adapting my cranks, jigs and other baits for them as well. My favorite season is fall, by far.

Making A Cork Handle Look New Again
I was thinking the same thing. Dirt on a cork grip is a sign of love.

Buzz Baits
Okay, so blade color isn't too vital. Your issue of skirt vs soft plastic, does it include skirt and trailers or simply whether or not to use a skirt?
-
Buzz Baits
Does blade color matter on a Cavitron? I'm looking to pick a few up soon. I know I want chartreuse/white and black. I assume a black blade on the black one and a gold blade on the other, but what say you?

Fishing For Creek Smallies
I prefer throwing soft craws, but enjoy a good spring and and fall crankbait bite.
- What Is Your Opinion On This Scenario?

Eating Smallmouth First Time In 15 Years...
I have eaten green bass, but I will never keep a smallie. They take so long to attain trophy size and where I fish for them, the big ones are not common. Keep crappie, bluegill and goggle eyes all you want, put the smallies back.

Yo Zuri Hybrid Any Good?
I need to order a spool, but I'm using Sufix Elite 8lb right now and am happy. I guess it's all in what makes you happy.

What's Your Favorite/ Go To Spinning Reel?
I have a few old Garcia Mitchell 300/301 sitting on the workbench. One has been relubed, the other 300 and the 301 haven't yet. I could be coerced to part with them, cheaply if one were so inclined. They're fantastic reels, but not my cup of tea. I'm using a Lew's SG300 right now and look to upgrade to a Cabela's/Daiwa soon. No Shimbindos for me please.

Dark Vs Pale Smallmouth??
Yep, and I believe the water color and cover has more to do with it than depth.
-
Dark Vs Pale Smallmouth??
This guy came from about three feet of water that was colored perfectly, greenish clear. This is the darkest smallie in my resume.

Smallies are more fun than the wife gjm. The Elk is in my very near future and I am anxious to get going. I have four more days of work and I'm off for ten days!

Mb X-80 Trick Darter
I had a few and caught a 17" Spot from an Ozark creek in March. They work well and the hooks are stupid sharp. I found dive depth around 4' or so.

Quest For The 4 Lb Creek Smallie
I overlooked that 20.5, congrats! That's a horse from an Ozark creek. They don't grow much longer down there. I've heard of 23" fish, but that is rare as hen's teeth.
