O.K, thanks. It is a Micro Magic medium power so I'll give them a call. I tried spinnerbaits with it last week when it started. That might have loosened it.

I don't have downsized blades (but can get some if necessary). Do you think a War Eagle finesse would work just as good? i tried to go fast, but with a medium micro magic it was a challenge.

We got my brother a Yo Zuri jerk bait (and tons of other lures) that is usually $13 which is expensive in my book, but it was on sale plus a tax 10% sale was going so I got it cheaper. It caught a several fish today. That being said worms caught the same amount.

I'll switch colors next time also. I only used white/chart with gold/silver Indiana/Colorado and white with silver willow/colorado.

A lot more camp. Not nearly as silhouetted.

O.K, thanks. I'll try that. Today it was forecasted 4mph winds, but the water was white capping. It was not windy in a creek entrance we fished though.

Today I was hanging my Reel N' Shad off the side of the boat and struck the lure in 15ft of water and the lure was only about 1 foot deep. It surprised me so much I missed the fish though. I also was reeling my spinnerbait on top of the water real fast like a top water trying to retrieve it to cast where I saw a bass and a bass slapped it in 20 ft.

I was wondering why everyone on this forum pointed me towards a Curado and did not even mention it in this thread! Thanks Capt George.

I can't believe I did not try that. A trailer was included with the Mann's I just bought. I mainly used War Eagles though and did not see them.

I was fishing today and my handle on my Duckett began to twist where the reels misaligned with the eyes. It snapped back into place, but it was still loose and continued to inch its way around. What should I do to repair this?

I did end up switching, but I have heard so much about spinnerbaits, especially at this time of year.

Caught a 2 with these today. Worked good. You have to let them have it for a second like a worm or you will pull it out of their mouth. Anyone know what hook was included with it? I lost mine on a hook set (frayed line). It had a weed guard and round head. I do not know what size to get for it. The one that was included was the perfect size (and I guess that is why they included it.)

I went fishing today and used primarily spinnerbaits for the first time. I had a lot of bass following the lure, but only caught one. I tried 3 sizes different speeds, 2 different colors, tried fishing it like a jig, letting it fall when the bass is chasing it, twitching the lure, but very few wanted to commit. What could I do different? My buddy was catching them pretty good with a jerk bait and worms. The water temp was 70 and was visible for 10 feet deep. Any suggestions?

Have'nt had good experience with Abu, but heard very good things about Lews.

Only been out a couple of times, but I am liking my Curado 200 I so far.

I have a medium 7' Micro Magic. I love the rod, best rod I have owned, it seems to be a little light though so I don't think that it would be to heavy.

We killed 4 copperheads the other day around our house. We put the picture on our business FB page telling everyone to watch out for snakes, not promoting killing snakes. I do not kill a snake unless it is poisonous and around the house where a child could be bit. We got an entire FB page created devoted to calling the business disgraceful, calling us twisted killers, murderers, etc. We even got death several death threats, and comments wishing we were dead instead of the snakes. Good news is the post reached over 2 million people. All of this to say, watch out, the snake activist are out.

I have been fishing several times on lake Jordan this year, but have not gotten on the fish. Any tips on where and how? Thanks.
