  1. They would help, but since the 20 warranty was older than 1 year they said they had a newer version and would have to charge me $40 + Shipping ($20) because the bugs had been worked out of the older version. I just did not want to pay that much when it was the manufacturers fault.
  2. One thing the did do though is when my rod tip was chipped they sent me a new one free of charge.I might have just called on a bad day, but I was not treated very good.
  3. I was fishing today and my handle on my Duckett began to twist where the reels misaligned with the eyes. It snapped back into place, but it was still loose and continued to inch its way around. What should I do to repair this? 4. While the rod fished great I was not crazy about their customer service. At first they weren't very helpful at all, but eventually became slightly more helpful. I still had to fix the rod my self though because it was going to cost me $45 under warranty to get repaired or $60 to get replaced.
  5. Thats the same one I got. Maybe my slow is bit faster than most. The main speed I retrieved was a steady reel.
  6. They will also sell you packs of 5 extra hooks if you call for 3.50 + shipping and tax if you live in AL.
  7. They do pretty good, not as good as fast. It depends on how slow. Really slow it doesn't have as much, but it still does. A steady retrieve though it has a lot of action. It really helps a slow retrieve if you reel the first reel or two fast or give your rod a twitch to get the action started. Give em a try. You will love them. They are my new favorite lure.
  8. To late. Bought mine for 139.99 last month.
  9. Exactly! I almost had to stop procrastinating and write my essays. Not quite though.
  10. I have never used a tube. Do they do as good as worms or other soft plastics? I like the ones in the video above.
  11. I bought 8. I could not pass up a deal like this. Now if only a rod would go on sale.
  12. You can get a lot of swim baits for the cost of one good rod and reel.
  13. Why on a spinning for the higher end rod? What reel would you match it with?
  14. He is using Eagle Claw, but I do not know what series.
  15. He uses one hook size somewhere in the middle so that could be it also.
  16. Never been there, but will have to check it out.
  17. I was in Alexander City fishing on Lake Martin last week. What is the name of the store?
  18. It twist when he reels the worst. Probably not hooked straight. I'll check those hooks out.
  19. Sounds like the Avid series is the way to go.
  20. What kind of hooks are needed?
  21. If he retrieves the worm spins. It could be improperly rigged though.
  22. My brother has been fishing with a BPS blade baitcaster and using a Texas Rigged worm. The worm is twisting the line until it forms long twist. How can he keep this from happening?
