change the line more often.i don't know anybody who uses flouro that long.

use sufix 832.it sinks so the bow is decreased.there is not a more sensitive line out there.use at least 50 lb test on baitcasters.heavier lines tip wrap less.

i use braid all the time.never use a leader.line visibility means nothing.since i started using sufix 832 i don't have a problem in rocks.

all rods are tip heavy.a properly balanced rod is balanced at the center of the reel seat.this means any reel can be used and it will not change the balance.this also makes the tip weightless so now you are feeling your bait and not the tip weight.

no way on earth flouro is more sensitive than braid in any situtation.i feel bites on slack line just fine with 832.how much slack are we talking about?

i use straight braid with no leader.let me explain why.after years of switching lines and keeping track of fish counts i have found that overall i don't think line visibilitymeans a dam thing.i've used flouro one year and my count went up.i was psyched.the next year i used it my count went down.i've used mono and tons of different brands of braids.i've fished next to guys with floro and the bite was tough and we both caught close to the same amount of fish.sometimes the flouro got more sometimes my braid did.my conclusion is it's all about putting your bait in front of a fish that wants it and has nothing to do with line visibility at all.since braid is without a doubt the most sensitive line out there i choose braid for all my fishing.i no longer worry if i have the right line because i know i do.

my good friend andy took me out on whaley IN DUTCHESS COUNTY N.Y. today as payback for rowing his **** around titicus a bunch of times.we got to the lake at 6 and dom had the gates open for us.we totaled 30 fish with 7 pickerals in 10 hours.i caught all the pickerals and andy had all bass.the biggest was 3lbs 9 ounces.in the morning the senko and 10 inch worm ruled.iafter 10 am it was the spinnerbait when the wind kicked up.when we stopped at 4 the bite had totally stopped .all the pleasure boaters were out and that was it.

just use a lower drag setting and softer rod.if you use a snap with the cranks one spooling of the reel will last 2 to 3 seasons which makes braid cheaper.

the only braid used should be sufix 832!!!roflmao!!!aeriously with this braid i go down to 30 on a baitcaster with no digging in.i use 20 on spinning.

i use braid all the time.it makes no difference if fish see your line.my buddy was using a flouro leader of 8 lb test and i was using straight 20 lb sufix 832 and we both caught the same amount of fish intough conditions.i have fished numerous times with guys using flouro and there is no difference even in clear water.if a GUY IS KICKING YOUR BUTT IT'S NOT CAUSE HE'S USING FLOURO.

ever look at the pros?they all use bigger spinning reels around size 4000.the reasons are bigger spools and less tangles and better drag power.a reel does not balance a rod.a rod is perfectly balanced when you hold it in the middle of the reel seat.it can then take any size reel and be balanced.a reel can only effect and unbalanced rod.

powerpro is by far one of the noisest braids out there.if you want quiet get sufix 832 or fireline braid and then spray it.

there is no comparison between sufix 832 and powerpro.sufix is far superior.you can get away with 30 lb test on a baitcaster without digging in.for all those who don't know it braid doesn't dig on a spinning reel.

don't give the fish that much credit.line visibility means nothing.i fishred yesterday on a very tough day and caught 5 bass in 11 hours on braid with no leader.my buddy used flouro and caught 1 fish.
