  1. here in n.y. a 10 pounder is a gift from god!!!i would remember that for the rest of my life.i can't remember how many dinks i've caught.
  2. if it's possible throw a buzzbait at night in the summer out there and if there's a big bass in there it will whack it!!!especially if it has never seen a buzzbait before!!!
  3. it would be nice if they got a hook stuck in their leg trying to pull a snag out!!!
  4. we have a couple of lakes here in new york that are dinkfests.you catch many 12-14 inch bass.evey once in a while you hook a 3-5 lber.i keep some of the dinks to eat and throw back the big ones.
  5. you guys have got to be kidding!!!if you went to italy and ate pasta untill you weighed 3000 lbs. shouldn't you count as the world's fattest human?as far as i know largemouth bass were stocked in plenty of states.they are bass that just happen to have a different forage than most.all reservoir fish are stocked when reservoirs are impounded.state fish and game departments decide what to stock and not stock.so what if california happened to do a better job than anybody else.if one of you guys went to california and caught the new world record bass you would be singing a different tune.
  6. they both have their place in your arsenal.you can't say one or the other.to start i would buy a 3/8 white double willow spinnerbait.a 3/8 black single colorado spinnerbait.a 1/2 oz.rattlin rapala in shad pattern.a set of 3 crank baits in shad pattern.1 shallow,1 medium(8ft) and 1 deep(14 ft). you can take it from there but that would get you started.
  7. a junebug 5 inch senko.a rattlin rapala shad pattern 1/2 0z.a black buzzbait 3/8 oz. with a clacker.
