  1. if i cought a big bass, and had a pond, i would.
  2. i love turtles! it is very hard too land a good sized one using a rod and it takes alot of skill. plus, it is great practice for landing big bass.
  3. make sure you give them spinning reels, or make sure you have lots of line.
  4. the staff will move the topic if it is in the wrong forum. like, if you post about a lure in the boat forum, they will move it to the tackle forum.
  5. i've heard of catfish "noodlers" that have been gigged all the way through the back by 40lb cats. they found the dead catfish later, with the noodlers body still on its back fin.
  6. well, 15 #5s is 75lbs.... which is 40lbs harder to beat.

  12. my PB is a 5.3lber cought off a buzzbait. (pictured at left) i know it aint huge, but enad58 said, my state record is 10lbs.

  15. and somtimes they will try to eat somthing bigger than their moulth. my friend cought a 6" bass on a 3/8oz buzzbait

  17. ...that you can melt down soft plastic lures for molds in the microwave. but i was wondering, what can you use to melt it in? would a small wooden bowl work?
  18. just to let you know, he means he comes from a family of 9 kids. (total of 11) (i know and fish with him.)
  19. i have fished 9/10 days this summer. (and for over 3 hours a day. 11 hours being my record)
  20. accualy, i can afford to buy new worms, so i'll melt down my old broken ones. (thanks for the idea!)
