  1. I think you'll have to wait until December.
  2. I'd go with lews. The bb2 has a wider spool, I'd go with the BB1 pro, tournament pro, or them team pro on sale at tw unless you need the wider spool. I always laugh when I hear people say get a shimano because you can get parts easily in the future. Shimano is the only reel comany I have a hard time getting parts from. Either discontinued or always out of stock. Lews customer service blows shimano out of the water.
  3. All my lews reels are made in korea.
  4. Jiff??? Peter pan???? Do yourself a favor and get some skippy. You'll never look back! Lol.
  5. You can get a Lews speed spool lfs on ebay new for 80 bucks.
  6. Yeah I understand that. There really are no "true graphite" framed reels. I'll put it this way all composite framed reels are going to have more flex than aluminum. Some more than others.
  7. Graphite framed reels will and do definitely flex in day to day fishing.
  8. I'd like to hear more about this identical smoke reel for 30 bucks.
  9. It's fine for the shimano sheep to call lews junk though on this forum.
  10. Whatever. There's a huge difference between fishing 3 or 4 days a month and fishing 20-25 days a month. It's hard to wear out a reel on the internet.
  11. That's not always true. I've had many cheap reels that lasted for years....and many expensive reels that were junk after one season.
  12. All reels feel smooth when new, it's finding one that stays smooth that's the challenge.
  13. 7' mh power mf action falcon bucoo! The most versatile and sensitive rod you will find for a hundred bucks.
  14. You'll need the key washer and drag washer also.
  15. I have one of those.... the 330 otomatic. It's actually a really cool design!
  16. There's a much bigger difference between the e series curado and citica than the I series. The handle and spool were different plus an extra bearing etc.

Latex gloves under a cheapo pair of hunting gloves with the fingers cut off. Glacier glove ice bay gloves if it's REALLY cold.
  18. I use 10 or 15. 20 is overkill for a spinning reel.
  19. If you can get the citica cheaper I see no reason to get the curado.
  20. The spool is the same, same amount of plastic. Hahaha I completely tore down and cleaned a friends curado and citica over the weekend. They are identical performance wise. The difference is the curado has 3 s-arb bearings and 2 stainless steel bearings, the citica has 5 stainless steel bearings. The other difference is the line guide is a different color (not sure if the material is different). I've heard people say the curado has a machined aluminum handle but if you put the two handles side by side they are IDENTICAL besides color. I've also heard people say the curado has a "double anodized" spool but that is purely cosmetic to add a second color. It's not more durable because it's "double anodized", the edges of the spool are still single anodized. Side by side performance wise the two reels have no noticeable difference. I fished them both side by side for a day before and after I cleaned them. I'm not a shimano fan but after using them I may buy a few, whichever I can find cheaper.
  21. It doesn't make any sense to me. Any rod with a bait hanging off it is going to feel tip heavy.
  22. How can you balance a rod with a big bait tied on it?
