How to catch a PB?
Honestly the last few weeks I have mostly caught them roaming on flats prespawn. A few have been next to brushpiles, or out of the grass. True that

How to catch a PB?
Let's see I've caught several of them on a keitech swing impact fat, one on a spinnerbait, a few on traps, a few on a shaky head, and one on a senko.

How to catch a PB?
I don't really have any rods that could be considered swimbait rods, any swimbaits you could suggest that wouldn't require a heavy action rod?

How to catch a PB?
I currently have access to about 10 private lakes/ponds, some I fish from the bank, some I fish out of a kayak. I know that big fish are present in several of these lakes, and maybe I will catch one just keeping after it. I'm just looking for some suggestions. I was thinking about trying to get into swimbaits. My biggest problem on that front is I'm not really geared up for it. My current baitcasters are all Medium Power with low profile reels. Are there some some swimbaits that could be handed with that gear? I also do fish soft swimbaits like Keitech Swing Impact Fat quite a bit and have caught a few 5lb fish on them here recently.

How to catch a PB?
Sadly due to my work schedule I really can only get on the water one day per week! I wish I could be out there trying every day!

How to catch a PB?
I am from St. Louis, but I'm currently in the middle of a one year internship in Georgia. Because of this temporary move south, I made it my goal to catch a new personal best this year (6.5lb). So far this year I have done well, lots of 4-5lb fish, but I was wondering what kind of advice you all have to help me get over the top and target/entice bigger fish? Thank you!

2017 ascend kayaks?
I've got last years FS12T, and it is very stable. I stand in in all the time, and I'm convinced I would fall out of it before I could flip the thing. I tried to flip it while sitting one day and actually couldn't.

How to deal with snot grass/algae
Another option would be a weightless fluke, you have to be patient but they come through that stuff pretty well.

Lipless cranks
My bad! I understand the frustration of losing lures! Red Eye banshees work pretty well for cheap!

Lipless cranks
I fish Red Eye's, Aruku Shad, and the originals, but I always seem to have the best luck on the original Rattletrap

How Should I Mount My Ff On My Kayak?
Hey, I just bought a FS12T, and I am trying to figure out the best way to approach putting a fishfinder in. I'm wondering what you ended up going with and how it worked out for you? Thanks!

Kayak Anchor Trolley, Which Side?
Well I'm actually on a year long internship in GA at the moment, but when I get back to STL I will need to figure that out. While in St. Louis I was mainly restricted to bank fishing previously, so I opted mostly for private lakes that had lots of shore access, but now that I have the yak, I will be rethinking places to fish.

Kayak Anchor Trolley, Which Side?
I just got myself a new FS12T, so I am working on gearing it up. My next project is an anchor trolley system. I think I've decided on the Yakattack system based on a few of its nice features. My main question is which side should I put the trolley system on? Does it matter? Thank you for the help! Some information that may be helpful: I am right handed (however I fish with left handed bait-casters, I just like not having to switch hands after I cast). My paddle holder is on the left side of my kayak. I would like to at some point mount a depth finder, and I am worried that if I have the paddle holder and trolley on separate sides it would get in the way of a transducer arm, any thoughts?

Bps Ascend Fs12T Sot Kayak?
How did the side handles work out for you? Did you use bolts or rivets?

New to Kayak Fishing, Transportation Question.
Huh, good to know. Except I already have the ratchets. Do you think I run the risk of the ratchets damaging the kayak from being too tight?

New to Kayak Fishing, Transportation Question.
I just purchased and Ascend FS12T Sit On Top Fishing Kayak. My main question at this point has to deal with transportation. The Kayak is 12ft and 77lbs, and I don't have a truck or SUV. So, I need to figure out the best way to strap it to my car. I was thinking that I could put it upside down on pool noodles and tie it down with ratchet straps through the doors. Does this method raise any immediate red flags? I got it from the store this way with no problems, but I don't want to risk damaging the kayak or losing it on the road, any thoughts or suggestions?

Just moved to Warner Robins, GA
I'm from St. Louis, but I have a year long internship in Warner Robins, GA. Does anyone know good places to fish around here? Or within an hour or so of here? I don't have a boat so big reservoirs aren't the best for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stunted Farm Pond... How do I fix it?
Yeah, one of my main issues is that I'm not the owner, and the owners want good fishing but are more or less indifferent and highly unlikely to spend money sticking, and draining the pond to start over is probably out of the question. So I kind of am limited in my means. I think just getting a ton of fish out of there is probably my only choice.

Stunted Farm Pond... How do I fix it?
I actually pulled 90 fish last spring and it did nothing. However I read that you need to remove 55lb per acre per year for a few years to truly improve things. And those 90 bass probably only weighed 25 lbs. There is a very healthy pond right a few hundred yards away. Would it be wise to move 3-4 2lb+ fish over to help keep the smaller bass from getting out of control and to improve the genetics of the pond?

Stunted Farm Pond... How do I fix it?
I have been fishing a few nearby farm ponds for about 8 years now. One of these ponds used to be very productive, containing an average bass of about 13-14 inches with several 5-8 (big for Missouri) pounders as well. However, over the years the pond has slowly began to diminish. Right now you catch a fish almost every cast and they all between 6-10 inches. A 1lb fish is now incredibly rare. Now I'm not sure what happened to cause the change, but the owner of the lake has given me permission to pull whatever fish are necessary to help get the pond back to a healthy balance. Does anyone have experience with this? The pond is maybe an 1-1.5 acres. Should I be harvesting every bass I catch? Do the bluegill or catfish populations have any impact on the bass here? Should I let the biggest bass go? Even if they are only 12 inches? And how many bass need to be harvested to make an impact? Thanks guys.

Jerkbait in the Gills...
Wouldn't removing the middle hook prevent the jerkbait from properly suspending?
