  1. I'll ask another question just to keep this sweet baby rollin'.... Did or are they going to replace the boat lane buoys that were missing in Housen when I was there in February? Makes it hard on a rookie to the area. Also, is there a site that has accurate GPS coordinates for boat lane buoys in case they didn't? One more... what in the hades is a safe water buoy??!!
  2. Yes Sir, I'm studying those areas. Thanks a million!
  3. Thanks again. I'm thinking I should focus on the deeper break lines next month cause I don't plan on night fishing until I can find em in the daylight. Please correct me if I sound like a couyon!
  4. Thanks Dog. Makes sense. I'm on the same path as you. Been a shallow water fisherman all my life. Trying to change. I used to fish Bayou Sorrell and Bayou Pidgeon before Andrew wrecked it!
  5. Oh. I plan on a rematch at Fin and Feather. She handed me my tail in mid February cause I was fishing too shallow, I believe.
  6. Well, Mr. Catt, I'm 2.5 hours away in what feels like Angola but it's just work and fishin' locally.
  7. Much appreciated. I'm trying to learn how to fish deep. Better late than never. Planning a trip to Toledo next month. Hadn't been since Easter.
  8. Thanks. I'll remember that. Those are the ones I'm looking for on maps and navionics etc. How deep is too deep? I understand the 15 + or - 3 but are there exceptions? I've found some potentially good looking structure that may be too deep?
  9. Interesting. Thanks Shaneus.
  10. Same here. I'm hooked on that place and looking for a camp, as well. Wish I was there now. As soon as I go, I'll give a report. Good, bad, or ugly... they all help
  11. I finally caught up from 2008! Thank you all very much. I will do my best to contribute to this awesome forum.
