  1. I'll be back after teal season. Hope to see y'all there!
  2. Thanks Catt Daddy! Makes perfect sense to me
  3. Thanks. It made me feel better for having such a hard time finding it at that depth is all I meant. I wonder what's going on with the grass. Carp? Hope not.
  4. Check out Joe Joslin's last report. He mentions the lack of grass in 10 to 15. I knew I wasn't crazy.
  5. All moved in! It's on now! See y'all on The Big Bad Bend!
  6. Can't make it either but thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of that trooper! d**n shame!
  7. Ya, sorry for asking such a specific question. I was looking for some starting places to study now. Not really where to fish in the spawn. Anyway, I'll be moving a camper to Six Mile soon so I'll be there more. I'll figure it out.
  8. I understand that but if you had to pick the top three areas with the largest amount of spawning fish at their peak times over the entire Spring?
  9. Ha ha not what I had in mind but great advice, thanks
  10. Ok, here's another random question. What are the top three spawning areas in your opinion. Sadly, I only know one and it's the 1215 area.
  11. Me either but I was thinking that might be a mistake.
  12. Texas rig with a weight at The Bend. Regular or pegged? I would say regular in colder water and pegged in warmer water and punching but I'm asking the veterans of the place...

  14. I'll be there for the Mr. Jack Yates Classic. Wish I could have met the man.
  15. They're not what they used to be. I'm sorry to tell you. All I can tell you is that I used to catch them on a junebug brush hog in the Cypress trees and a plum worm and bandit crankbait around the docks. Hadn't been in three or four years. Sorry.
  16. I gave that place up a long time ago. Had better luck at night when I fished it. Good luck.
  17. Sorry man. Hope it's not what you think.
  18. In case effort is in question. I woke up at 2:30 am last Friday morning and the next time I went to sleep was 9:00 am Saturday mornin'. My trolling motor died at 12:30 am Sat morn, which didn't help. Then fished from 6:00 am Sunday till about noon and had to head back to the house.
  19. Sadly, all I can tell you is Beavers against the hay grass was most productive for me. I caught a few on black and blue chatter bait near hay grass. Very few little ones on a drop shot deep. Zero on that 10xd deep. One on a fire tiger Norman crankbait. Zero on a jig. Zero on a T rig worm big or small trick or not. Zero on a black buzzbait. Zero on a gun fish top water. Still learning I guess. Good luck.
  20. Got a boat slip and can't even put my boat in it without ripping my trolling motor off lol. Anybody has Garmin depth finders? Their boat is here contouring. It's rocking in the boat house.
  21. How about a Blue Bird Day with a north wind in July!?!?! Lol I can plan some trips now!
  22. Oh, I'm staying positive. It's on tonight! Wish you were here. I used to love Saline/Larto. It will come back around... I hope!
  23. So far Housen is still using my lips for a boxing speed bag but it ain't over yet!!!!
