That's a huge sac-a-lait! Haven't even began to try for them on The Bend. I want to but I'm obsessed with catching a 10 lb bass right now. Good luck. I think I'm the only human on Earth that can't catch a bass on a rattle trap style bait. I'm gunna keep trying though!

I got one. Painted the un bream like silver dime underneath and put it in with the pad crashers until it's time to try it. Let you know in a month or two

I like stained water. Should have said muddy, I guess. I know they're still there just mentioning it for a report in case anybody was wondering. Like the water temp. Thanks for the heads up on Six Mile. I caught fish there last fall. I remember last year at this time, they were hammering them north of the bridge and not so much south of the bridge so been focused north of the bridge. Time to refocus.

Fished a little while today before coming home. Fished the back of Sandy cause it was close. Too stained for me. Water temp 52 to 54. Caught one on a spinnerbait and two on a brush hog. Biggest was 2 pounds. Be back next weekend. Good luck to all.

Fished from 10 am to dark in the 1215 area. Water temps 53 to 54 degrees. Stained just enough. Caught 15 shallow. Biggest was 3. Super slow rolling a spinnerbait and DEAD sticking a Senko. It was slow for me.

I'd fish with Pee Wee Herman if he could solve my deep fishing issues! I'd even do Pee Wee's little dance dance on the back deck! Lol

Welcome LSU! Always. I'm the same. I fished here when I was a pup in my uncles' boats. It's different when you're the "Captain" making all the decisions. I started back here last February and enjoy the challenge. I'm here for the 10 plus. Caught a 9+ last spring. Ain't catching anything close to that around the house. Good luck to ya.

I like the Biffle heads except the color so I powder coat em whatever color I want.

I fished from 1:30 to dark and caught a Skunk in the 1215 area. The water is a little too stained for me. I have no clue where to go tomorrow, now. I planned on spending the weekend fishing that area. C'est la vie!

I'm in the house after work cause it's dark outside. I'm tying on baits, powder coating jig heads, shaky heads, swing heads, and spinner bait blades over the gas burner in the kitchen getting ready for my trip to Toledo Bend this weekend. My dear wife walks in, slowly shakes her head, and tells me I have a mistress! I smile and say at least it's fishin'. She smiles and says I'm glad and gives me some of her fancy arts and craft beads for C-riggen'! What a women! I hope y'all are blessed with a women like that.
