  1. Welcome. Red bug has been the most consistent color for me the past month and a half. Even caught some deep on a drop shot rig. Good luck.
  2. Headed that way in the mornin' if I can find an out of state license. Hadn't been in over 20 years. A lil rusty lol. It will be a nice change of scenery.
  3. Man, am I glad to see you on here. I was wondering if you were ok. Glad you get to go again. The pads are way less than normal too. At least in Six Mile. Good luck.
  4. I know the feeling. Otherwise, I'd just move to Hemphill lol. I will have to work the 19th and 20th. Ain't happy about it!
  5. That was you, then. I'll be in Six Mile Sunday. Rayburn on Saturday.
  6. Busy Guy, just my humble opinion, but last spring was not normal. I was here for Christmas and the water was 65 degrees. I really think most of the fish spawned earlier than normal. Looks like another mild winter. About the time it was about to get right last spring for the usual spawn and probably for the last time the flood jacked it all up. The fall pattern is way late in my opinion too. I still wish they would lie and rank it 20th or so
  7. Yes Sir, me too. I'm almost positive I was parked right next to you Sunday. Catch you one day. Maybe next weekend. I'm about ready to spend my Saturdays at Big Sam though. It's time. Until it rains and cools off at least.
  8. Nice job BF! Congrats.
  9. Here's one for you. Today, caught 12 from 7 until 2:30. 6 on a tr red bug worm, 3 on a wm red brush hog, 2 on a spinner bait, and one on a frog. In and around creek channels in Sandy Creek. Very shabby size. Maybe 5 keepers. Good luck.
  10. Welcome Trap. It's true what you said but I try not to run much over here especially when it's this low. Shouldn't have to worry about that BS at any landing on Earth. I fished the basin and by the house and had some trouble that is inexplicable to me. I won't tolerate it anymore. I will quit fishin' and hunt these a holes if it happens to me over here.
  11. Another heads up! The low down dirty dogs drilling gas tanks hit the public landing by the dam on the Texas side. I swear, I'll put them in the hospital if I see them!
  12. It was kinda tough for me too. Had to leave the shallows lol. Saturday caught 5 in Six Mile on a red bug worm (10'+) and 1 on a square bill in a foot. I think they bit better in the afternoon but I had enough. Met Guidroz. Cool dude. Sunday, finally went check out Mill Creek. Fished from daylight until 4. Hard headed and fished shallow again 1 on a square bill then caught 12 under boat docks on shakey head and Texas rigged red bug trick worm 8' and deeper. Back again this weekend. Good luck to all.
  13. Will do. Thanks and good luck to you.
  14. Good deal. I'm in a black Lowe with two black power poles. Old black Toyota Tacoma.
  15. Yes Sir. I've been watching for you about a year since I put my camper at Twin Oaks. One day I'll see you but now you're selling it? Hope you're getting another one.
  16. Catch a bullet or get whipped by a little crippled back Cajun dude lol It would be easy to hide in the woods there and watch for em too!
  17. It sure does. I'm there every weekend. I'd hate to fight right now but I will lol. The landing by the bridge on the south bank of Six Mile creek. Not too far from Carlson's. Here's my shabby report for last weekend: Caught 9 Saturday on a frog shallow by the hardest. Sunday had one choupique until I got saved by some schooling fish. Caught 8 on a spook in an hour. Tried every bait known to man from 6" to 24'. One day I hope to see my screen look like June-bug's. Back at it this weekend...good luck to all.
  18. Just a heads up. Some knuckle head is drilling holes in truck gas tanks to steal gas at the public landing at Six Mile. In broud daylite! Takes a sorry #^^!<%%#!
  19. Same here. Ole Joe's reports are great but usually delayed a couple of weeks. Those temps were accurate around the first of the month.
  20. True but be careful cause some of the buoys are missing or out of place.
  21. Ha ha you're right. I was in a hurry. Here ya go... caught two on a spinner bait, two on a DT 10 crank bait, and the rest on a frog and red bug worm. Fished from 1 to 15 feet. Did the best on or near creek channel drops. Especially, the ones with pads. Would be fishing right now but I can barely walk.
  22. Don't forget the squirrels! Still can't hunt so went to The Bend. Fished from 7 to 5:30. Hurt like hell but caught 18 so it was worth it
  23. You're welcome. I might go this weekend, myself, if The Bend treats me like it did last weekend.
  24. Hadn't been but I heard they were catching on frogs. Good luck!
  25. 86 to 88 Saturday morning until 11:30 in Six Mile. That's all I could fish. Didn't get a bite either. Looks like I missed the fish more than they missed me!
