  1. Congrats! Seems to be a pattern over there the last 5 or six weeks. Friday is WAY better than Saturday or Sunday.
  2. If you have direct tv you can get another box and a dish and bring it over there. All on your same home bill. I think dish network is the same but not sure. Good luck. My wife has to have it too.
  3. Anybody know if there is a landing I can use closer to Mcgee's Flats than Six Mile or Paradise Point in Mill Creek?
  4. They were tough for me this weekend too. Caught 12 Saturday and 5 today. Maybe next weekend we won't have a cold front on Thursday or Friday for the third or fourth weekend in a row!
  5. It's still a factor for me. Good luck all. Can't wait till mornin'
  6. Not sure what the scientific name for hay grass is but that slime is filamentous algae. I hate it! Lol As far as water clarity, all I can tell you is Six Mile was starting to clear up last Friday thru Sunday. Hadn't been anywhere else.
  7. Nice job! Where y'all at? I can't even open all them texts on my other phone. Caught over 15 this afternoon. One of them was 8 lbs 5 oz Hope to meet y'all for supper tomorrow night. Please let me know what time.
  8. Congrats! Biggest I could get in the boat was 8 lbs 5 oz. today. Lost two in the same size range. Caught over 15 this afternoon, lost count. Not sure what my problem is this year. Maybe the tennis elbow is worse than I thought. Never played that game lol.
  9. No reason to be ashamed. That's there back yard bud. They know what's going on for years. Kee fishin' and good luck
  10. Welcome and good luck buddy!
  11. South coves in Housen would be good too.
  12. With a a big South wind tomorrow, I think that would be a good choice as long as you launch at the Indian Mounds landing. There's plenty of area to fish that's protected from a South wind.
  13. Be there Thursday night after work. Can't wait!
  14. No but you kind find him under general forum - two bassresource.com road trips. It's the second one from the top right now. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/profile/38428-bassnchris/ Or click on dat!
  15. Mine ain't going for it either lol I only caught 4 this morning. All three and four pounds, though, at least. I think I broke off my elusive DD under the boat too. Sickening. I can't get the glimpse of her size out of my head. Probably won't until Friday when I can try again. C'est la vie...
  16. Best 14 I've ever caught in a Gale Force North Wind! Could barely keep my cap on my head!
  17. I wish I was there now until eternity!
  18. I'll be around fishing from the 25th - 27th, Easter weekend. Hope to see y'all. I think it's the entire week maybe 21st thru the 27th.
  19. Lol. Congrats! I promise you I won't be the fool you pity, Mr. T
  20. I'll wait until Saturday morning but I'll probably have to take the long way around. Ya'll be safe.
  21. It's insane! Good idea, Dog. I think I'll do the same if I can get there. As of now, I heard some roads are closed from the dam up to 6 mile.
  22. Lol I might. I'll change my name to Blue John or maybe Cow Cow
  23. Great thread. Thanks. Many times I wonder if they're not biting or if I'm in the wrong place and or with the wrong bait. There's my problem. Have to eliminate the chance of not having the right tool for the job. The more I go the more I lean toward it's about the spot, though.
  24. I'm still a rookie there but I think I'll focus on the South end and more towards the lake until the water settles down. Any experienced advice on a possible foot of rain would be much appreciated, though.
  25. This weather can kiss my coon tail! Couldn't come at a worse time. I'll be there unless I gotta ride the lightning. Y'all be safe and good luck.
