Welcome to Bass Resource! I have been fishing with my son since forever, he is 31 now and has a family, can't go with me every weekend, but it is something we enjoy together. Don't stop taking him! If you have a daughter, don't forget about her! Mine does not like to fish, she cooks for me and has given me three grandsons. I need a bigger boat.

3 LMB in 5 minutes Went to the pond, 2nd cast with a Carolina rig, 2.3lbs. Several more cast, couple more minutes and caught 2 more. Cool.

@Catt, anytime you are up that way stop by and say hi! I can show you where NOT to fish! LOL. Maybe you can give me some pointers on how to find the leak in my boat. I see no holes in the bottom and the welds have not torn. Thinking now a seal or hose has started leaking. Thinking about taking the boat to a launch, leave the boat tied down and just dip the stern into the water, see what I see.

Took my son and 3 of my 4 grandsons (the 4th is 2 months old) to a boat show today. They had a blast climbing on the boats, over the 4 wheelers and walking through the RVs. Does not get better. Only bad part was the granddaughter did stayed with her Mom to go to the gym.

Zero LMB, 2 White Bass On the water by 10am, fished the river bends, a shore line in a cove and the sand bar point on the main lake. Shallow, deep and everything in between. Jig, Caroline Rig, Texas Rig, jerk bait and spinner bait. Nothing. Headed to the Sabine River to a sand bar, caught 2 White Bass bouncing the jerk bait off the sand. Put the truck in drive a little after 5:30pm headed to the house.

Gonna bite the bullet and buy a Hummingbird with Auto Chart Live and down imaging. Tired of this random fishing. The Hook - N - Line map is good but when on the water finding the creek bed off the channel aint easy. This... deep water structure highway from deep to shallow find the sanctuary ...fishing is kicking my 4$$! I too use an anchor, mostly for those windy days when I want to keep the boat in one place to pick a target apart. The original power pole!
