Think I will launch from Circle Drive, head south down the Sabine River channel and look for good fishing holes. Particularly when the channel gets close to the shore, or something like that. Very first post the OP, Catt, said to get a Hook-N-Line map, Still true?

Little Fish, thanks for the reply. If by 1215 you mean the area just north of the Pendleton bridge then that would be a bit far for my 60HP Evinrude to push me. Where do you launch? I have heard Huxley mentioned several times, anything North of there? Maybe even the Sabine River.

Hello All, Would like some input/advice. I live in Shreveport and have decided to start fishing at TB instead of Caddo Lake. Will be launching out of Circle Drive. Any general areas on the north end that yall can tell me about that will get me started? Thanks in advance.

Who tells other fisherman where the honey hole is? I will occasionally, but usually give a vague area of where we have been fishing. samwise2u
