only when I'm panfishing will I play music usually blue oyster cult or something equally awesome but when bass fishing I feel like I don't have time for music two much on my mind working the trolling motor, reading ff or changing lures.

I have two spinning revos and two casting revos the cheapest of the revos family. I use them quite often tournament fishing but I always carry my black max bait caster with a Berkeley lighting rod. And always catch the most fish on this cheap set up I mainly use it for cranking so I would say the max family reels are good.

Any one have success using straight braid? No leader.

I've lost more money on lures in one month than two years worth of fishing. I've stopped throwing cranks and spinners and started doing more finesse fishing that way I only lose less than a dollar when I get broken off.

Anyone have success using single hooks on their crank baits? I'm sick of little pike being badly hooked by treble hooks. I've pinched down the barbs and that helps a bit. but the problem is trying to grab the pike with out worrying about five other hooks.

My buddy's truck got broken in to and had about .67 cents stolen from it. the busted window cost him 200.00. now he leaves his car unlocked and windows down.

I've tried looking for an alternative to gyb but they all fall short. they are the best. Most guys say they only last one fish. but I make them last. I rig them thru the head and when I catch one I'll get one more fish on it. then I flip it over and rig it thru the tail. then when that's spent I wacky rig it bam baby.
