  1. Elio,if you paid with a credit card you can dispute the charges and the card company will inform them of the withdraw from oder.
  2. On my new yamaha 40 hp two stroke there was a power tech stainless propellar on it when i bought it.I wrote the numbers down went to there site and it said i had a 10.38" diameter prop with a 13" pitch in satin finish with cup.Question is how do i know if this is the proper prop for my boat setup,i do not have a tach. :-/
  3. At cabelas in the 1 lb spools in 2,4,6 pound test for 69.95 and 79.95, half price
  4. Had two about twenty years ago both were fenwick boron-x's,had a 6' med action baitcasting rod and a light spinner in 5'6",the spinner was given to my ex-father-in-law and the casting rod shattered in a kazillion pieces one cold winter day setting the hook with a jig and pig. I mean that thing splinttered like dust, never saw anything quite like it. In my opinion it was a heavier rod and stiffer than graphite in the same actions. It was sensitive but the other cons offset it's plus'.
  5. Cabelas agm's,have two bought for 129.00 on sale, run one to crank engine, other to run a motorguide trolling motor, have not run it til it's dead yet, doesn't even hardly drop any after each trip.
  6. One of the reasons i went to agm batteries, cold, hot doesn't matter, can put it on charge, let it sit for monthes throw the charger back on it and it hasn't dropped one bit, also never have to worry about acid spills with it,yea it cost more but i have yet to run one down to nothing.
  7. I want to see the fool that finances a boat for 15 years unless its a yacht that he or she lives on... If married they won't be for very long... I went to pick up a motor cover saturday and looked at rangers in the 50-60 thousand range,i guess if you have it you might as well spend it you can't take it with you but i for one don't have it to spend on a boat that will loose 25% of its value when you take it off the lot, land is alot wiser investment, they don't make it anymore and whats out there is being eat up by !@#$%subdivisions and apartment complexes everyday but thats another issue,so NO DON"T DO IT!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
  8. Walkingboss, not to be picky but looking at the pics why didn't they route the cable behind the transducer bracket, then go up with it.As you look at the second pic am i seeing things right in that the transducer is above the pad,see what happens if you lower the transducer down first before changing positions.
  9. Got a good anchor idea for under 10 bucks. Take a plastic coke bottle with the screw cap,buy a 5 lb box of rockite concrete mix,one eyebolt around 4" long with two flat washers and two nuts. Mix rockite and pour in bottle, screw bolt through cap top first til the eye is flush with the cap top,now put one washer and nut to the halfway point on the bolt and the second one at the bottom.Drop the eyebolt down in the mixture and screw the cap on.The rockite will set overnight with the eyebolt holding strong, the plastic bottle is protection from marking up your boat.
  10. Ya done ordered it but i think walmart has em for 299.00
  11. My motorguide trolling motor!I am looking for the 12 volt foot control models with the older 07 or 16 mounts, they are black aluminum mounts with white motorguide on the sides.I just called bass pro to pickup one with that !@#$% 360 gatormount, much larger footprint than the older mounts,so if anyone is shopping at there local boat dealer have a looksie for me thanks.
  12. I plan on soldering the inline fuse before the tap if thats the route i go.
  13. Avid i can give you some of the best advise possible on this one.I had a scott and a esquif mallard canoe and on each i ordered from porter brothers canoe works replacement seats. All i did was remove the hangers bolts, they made replacement seats of solid wood,i then attached a pedestal base and then all you have to do is drop your bass boat seat right in the pedestal base mount! The best part is the seat can be removed to lessen weight. 8-)
  14. Spent two hours cutting tie wraps off loom installing transducer wire in loom then rewrapping it back. Now for the question,i have a electrical panal with three switches with a fuse under each. One is aerator, bilge lights,to the side i have a factory cig lighter with red,blk feed ing off the light wires. Can i splice into the lighter power or just remove the bullet connectors and send it directly to the depthfinder,i touched the wires and it will come on.
  15. OK CHILDREN spelling is corrected now! :
  16. First i want to say that i am fishing a 1200 acre "city" lake that hybrids were first introduced in NC in the sixtys.I have no clue if they still are in the lake, the deepest water being around 50 feet deep. Questions,i have fished for stripers with hopkins spoons and bucktail jigs once they were located on depth finder and verticle jigged for them,do you fish for hybrids the same way? What are there patterns normally(spring, summer, fall, winter)? :-?
  17. After i got home yesterday i started mowing grass and drove behind the boat several times and noticed that the boat looked like it was to one side on the trailer. After i finished mowing i got a tape measure out and measured from the welded strap hook, one side to hull 7 1/2",other side 9".I'll have to get the boat off the trailer, center the bunks and check distance on the side rails also,MAN! :-?
  18. I assume you have a aluminum braces that go from side to side, can you fab a aluminum arm and place a 90 degree bend and attach it to the brace near the back and mount the transducer on the bottom of that.Cabelas has some premade ones for under 40.00 that i am taking about.
  19. Its aluminum welded, the hull is angled not flat at the bunks so the bunks themselves are at angles. The front roller is not touching the boat, should i loosen the mounting bolts and adjust it to touch the boat.
  20. It is a wesco trailer, weld-craft boat.Should the middle roller touch the hull or just be slightly off it.The sides of the boat are roughly 2" off the side rails on each side, the bunks are between the ribs on the bottom of the boat, does this seem right? :-[
  21. I use a product out of burlington,nc called duragloss, mainly a car wax but they have marine products too.I just use the wax for clearcoat car finish on mine.
  22. Well i got my boat last week and was giving it the once over and boy at the things i found when i got home!So far nothing boat related but the trailer! ,the middle guide roller was flopping around and the bolts were not even tight! This morning i was cleaning it and noticed one of the three bolts that hold the winch down was loose enough to unscrew with your fingers. I also noticed that the boat seemed to lean to one side on the trailer, sure enough when the dealer must have set it up for my boat he had one rail at a sharper angle than the other.Called over brotherinlaw and nephew to lift the side up,loosen the bracket angle it more and tighten her down.Boys just make sure everything is right before you leave at boat purchasing time!
  23. For those of you that have purchased a NEW boat that has the motorguide trolling motors foot control with the 07 mount not the gator 360 mount,i am looking one for my new boat.Seems that the 360 mount is the only one that is availible for the freshwater series 12 volt noe.I need it in 42" shaft length, again new boats that want to upgrade.
  24. Where can i buy some bobbers like that! ;D ;D ;D :o
  25. I understand cart but with it being posted twice on ebay and the same thing happening each time with people interested just trying to skirt around the ebay process i have wasted enough time with this boat already and money, two wasted ebay postings and $100.00 loss.I will email him and tell him that if it doesn't sell on ebay he will have two days to come look at the boat if he is that interested in it and after that it will be hooked up to a fourrunner and hauled to SC to trade in.
