First boat?
What do you all think of this boat for a first time owner? I called them and they said they had tested it and there were no leaks, the trailer/tires were in good condition, along with the batteries. I believe they have it priced at $4500. boat- http://wiedasmarine.com/2004-tracker-tournament-v-18/ Thank You

Soft Plastic types
I have been trying to simplify my soft plastic arsenal, and was wondering if there is a difference in size? Like a lizard vs a beaver, where the lizard is skinnier, and the beaver wider. Should I stock both because they might not one, or just primarily keep the lizard or beaver? Thanks

Different Head types
Hi all, I have been wanting to try out swinging jig heads, so I picked some of the VMC rugby heads up in 5/16.My question is what is the difference between these and a shaky head and a football jig(minus the skirt)? Also, should I try a more finesse approach and get like 1/8 oz sizes or get 1/2oz+ to maintain bottom contact? Thanks!

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
My new spinning rod from sportsmans outfitters. Got it for $104.99 shipped. Next up is a new reel for it, and maybe a casting rod at that price!

Daiwa Tatula Elite
Anyone used or heard about the Daiwa Tatula Elite Rods? ($180). Was looking into a new soft plastics rod, but the tatula line($150) had regular actions, and I prefer a little faster action. Then I saw these on TW, but can't find anything on them. Thanks!

Where to target first?
If you can provide a map that shows the depths of the lake that would be very helpful, because you can then find transition areas, deep water, shallow water etc.

Zoom bait co.
Netbait and zoom are usually the only plastics I buy due to their good styles, color choices and price! However, if somethings on sale I'll buy it as well.

school me on lipless crankbaits?
I like the RES, but I am new to trap fishing. However I did catch 2 4.5lb bass at a farm pond Sunday by ripping it off the bottom, and letting it fall.

Lew's Vs. Daiwa Tatula
I have both, i agree that lews is better for long casting(such as my cranking setup) but Daiwa CT wins for plastics. The CT bombs a weightless senko!

Help needed
Hi all, I am going to Florida this week and was hoping to do some fishing. It would be wherever I could walk/drive to fairly close. I wil be staying in the Destin area. I want to go after bass, and redfish or trout, but really open to all. I heard the Choctawatchee bay was good for redfish and trout. Any other places/suggestions for bass/redfish or others? Thanks!

I know this is late but a color from SK that is Dick's exclusive is pb&j craw. I have it in their 1.5 and RES. It works pretty well.

Rod Question
Usually I spend more money on higher quality rods for my bottom contact baits like jig, shakeyhead, t-rig etc. I don't feel I need as sensitive of a rod for crankbaits, chatterbaits etc.

A-Rig
Hi, I am interested in throwing the A-rig but don't want to buy a dedicated combo for it yet, so I would be using a 7'3" mh rod (rated 1/4-1oz). I am looking for a smaller or "finesse" style A-Rig to use for it. What are some recommendations? Thanks!
