  1. Probably already said but remember not to forget to enjoy just being out on the water. Catching fish helps a lot but take in the little things life ha given you.
  2. Not a fan of crankbaits lol had to cut the hook because the bass was flopping around too much. I pulled as hard as I could with pliers but stopped after I almost puked lol you can see the progress I made from the 2 pics. Dr tried pulling also and ended up cutting my finger enough for the hook to pop out.
  3. Frog toggs- google that and should get you some ideas- you're welcome i read your budget. I thought I saw $50. I will leave this in case others are interested in this price range.
  4. Good sharp pair of wire cutters for hooks. You ever get treble hooks in you, clothes, net, etc etc you will be glad you have them. Something big and orange you can wave around if you need help isn't a bad idea either.
  5. Try googling kayak forums in your state see if anything pops up. Also Craigslist
  6. Thanks. I was going to go this morning but had to go to Va. office and work on my claim. (3 years ongoing) anyway maybe later this week I can make a small review of initial use.
  7. Ok I had a raymarine dragonfly 5 and had nothing but problems. Tried updating software and several other things. Got tired of it and used my gear guard warranty from Bass Pro. I got a new Lowrance 7ti and look forward to using this thing. Just setting it up made me excited. Really easy to use. I have seen videos on YouTube and the picture looks really good. Either way it will be an improvement of my last graph. I will be sure to take pics of it in use. (Excuse my garage- cleaning my garage? - ain't nobody got time for dat. I have fish to catch)
  8. $40 won't give you much in the hopes of a quality fishing tackle backpack. Like others said- find you a school bag or maybe an old Army ruck pack with frame. Then buy good 3700 boxes.
  9. The menace grubs are a good choice. You're doing yourself a favor
  10. Walking around a private lake a month ago looking at bass. Most are 5 to 7 lbs. anyone else have spawning pics? The one on the bed isn't but a 2lbs male.
  11. Went fishing a couple of days ago and wasn't catching anything in my hot spots. Got desperate and decided to try the Ned rig for the 1st time. I didn't stay them but didn't get skunked. Caught about a 2.5lbs bass and a 14" crappie. Pretty sure I missed a few crappie but I don't blame the lure for that. Currently trying to find a good stout jig head with keeper. The zman shroom head wasn't all that great.
  12. Ole Ned rig saved the day. It was real slow.
  13. Called TW to cancel 2 items on back order to get my other items quicker. Well rather than just cancel those items I ended up adding more? Those sneaky Devils. I ordered some of the zman freedom chatterbaits as well
  14. What about a Ranger TP 190? Or order the rt 178 or rt 188 with Aluminum trailer. I myself am struggling with those choices. I may even consider a Xpress. 3rd world problems I guess.
  15. Usually it's " ah........ Son of a b........" with my buddy "suck it punk" then I do that wrestler move. Mostly profanity but but I will start working on something more Disney like when I take my kids.
  16. Yeah I was in Australia..... LoL why do my pics get turned upside down like that? Last time my pic was 90 degrees? Oh well y'all get the picture. LoL
  17. I plan on getting a mustang when I get a boat. I wore them at work and they are pretty durable. Remember to just take care of them and due the maintenance. Here I am at a big bass tournament and my buddy only had these on his boat. LoL He was mad we had to wear them and I was laughing the whole time the big motor ran.
  18. Lots of possibilities. Hard to be at a wacky rigged senko bait. Does the pond have a lot of grass.
  19. Not nitro, but some sales person who doesn't know anything about what they're selling is more the problem here I think.
  20. I can't decide on a favorite. I think a crate and anchor trolley should be mandatory for most yakers. Even when I was broke I still was able to configure both out of cheap materials. For my particular kayak I love my square hatch just forward of my seat. Holds tackle, snacks, tools, and phone.
  21. If you have hopes of a double digit bass would the drag system by strong enough on a 33?
  22. Those are nice gloves jar but I use the lighter series gloves. http://buffusa.com/buff-products/gloves/sport-series-water-2-gloves/light-sage
  23. For gloves I would give the gloves by buff a look as well. I really like mine.
