Do you wear a "buff" when fishing? and let's see it if so.
I use to be flip flops, shorts, and tshirts. I chose to write a paper on skin cancer for college and after all my research and personal experiences I started wearing long sleeve shirts. Fast forward a few years and a better budget I am covered head to toe. I still add sunblock to my face, ears, and neck. The buff works well for bugs as well. Included is my crappie night trip. I choked on a bug for 5 min and realized I had a buff in my bag. Problem solved.

Bill Lewis Echo
Found them at a local shop. They didn't have the one color I wanted the most but I got several good ones. If they do well for me I will make an order to TW. Now I just gotta get on the water.

Bill Lewis Echo
Anyone tried the new crankbait by Bill Lewis maker of the famous rattl-trap. They come with mustad triple grip hooks. I hope my local options will have them if not I will have to pay off my current tackle warehouse debt. They don't look like a magical new crankbait but the fact that they make the rattltrap and come with great hooks I might buy a few.

I pulled the trigger...
What's your budget? Lots of great kayaks on the market. I have had a few different ones. I settled for pedal style yaks. I have a busted shoulder and I can fish lol day and not get tired. If that wasn't big enough reason to get one, the hands free fishing is awesome. I currently use a 5in graph looking to get a 7in side scan graph. Only downside to yaks is I can't take other people fishing, but that can be a bonus as well. My kids are both under 2 so I am in no hurry to get a boat. I really enjoy my yak. There are a lot out there. Budget and transport options are deciding factors. I'm a fishing nut and converted a 5x8 utility trailer to haul my yak and two more with gear, my current yak is a Hobie outback and I'm pretty happy with it.

What Electronics for my Kayak?
$450 for a Helix 5 with side scan? That sounds like what you're looking for then. Humminbird Lowrance they're both good choices.

What Electronics for my Kayak?
For $500 I don't think you're getting side scan. Look at the lowrance hook series. I currently have a raymarine 5in model which I have had problems with. I'm planning on getting the Lowrance 7 Ti with structure scan. Electronics are a big part of bass fishing. I use to think they weren't necessary but that has changed. I would try your best to get a 5in model at the smallest. Gps is nice to mark spots.

Bass Champs- Falcon
Thanks. I don't know how people want to be professional BASSFISHERMAN. I fished one day and barely broke even. I like to think we placed well considering we only fished one spot and I only have about a year of bass fishing experience.

2017 Bassmaster Classic will be held in Houston, TX
Weather changes drastically during March. It can be 85 one day then 50 the next day with 25mph winds. I hope they have the best weather pattern for those days. I'm thinking of going and checking it out myself.

Bass Champs- Falcon
Well me and my partner got 4th out of 140 boats at Falcon lake. We got all of our fish in one spot. It's a spot I found kayak fishing. My avatar bass/PB is from this area. We got them on a small square bill and basstrix swimbaits 5". We had our 5fish limit by 8am and were culling all day. We ended it with 26lbs first was 31lbs. It was a great day. My buddy carried us with a 8lbs and 6lbs he got on a shad pattern kvd 1.5. My wife and kids both under 2yrs went to the weigh in which was cool. After getting 2nd in last tournament which was small, but my wife was starting to show interest in this bass thing. I was all about saltwater a couple of years ago but I'm thinking about a bass boat now. Maybe if I'm lucky I can get a ranger z518 intracoastal in a couple of years. Anyway now I gotta cash my check and pay off my lure dealer like a good tackle addict.

Sun gloves?
I like the buff gloves myself.

Bass pro shipping.
Trick Allen didn't answer your question directly, but may be the best advice. Ack is known as Austin Canoe and Kayak. They are a great place. Mostly located in Texas that I know of but do ship kayaks throughout the U.S. Some kayaks ship free. They don't have ascend kayaks but wilderness, ocean kayak, and a few others.

Let's See Your Taclke Box!
I bought a new Plano M series 3700 so I could get rid of my Dora the explorer bag my buddy affectionately calls it. Well to my disbelief and his happiness I still need it lol. Well at least for tournament fishing. I will just stuff it with all my plastics. My Plano isn't anything special but I can't say to much as I only messed with it to fill it up. What I can say was the zippers were easy to use and if they last that will be a plus but again it seems to easy. It has plenty of space, pockets, and the amount you can store in it. It will hold 8 3700 boxes. Pockets everywhere and they seem to be well placed. I will try to take pics later.

Sit on top or sit in kayak
If you turtle in a sink- it's not gonna float lol. I like sot kayaks myself. Easier to get to my gear and move around to handle fish and whatever else needs room to move. Just plan on getting wet in a kayak, you're fooling yourself if you think you can without getting wet. Some kayaks will get you wet more than others. Just be sure to get a good seat so you're not sitting in the water. That can be easily done with a stadium cushion but the higher you are the more unstable you become. That's were the width of your kayak and your body type come into play. Lots of variables just plan on being wet and you'll be much happier. I love my kayak and getting wet doesn't bother me much.

Rage Tail Swimmer
Cgrinder to be upfront about keitech baits I actually ordered some a week ago online. They look great and look forward to using them, but if I can pick up a lure locally I will go that route. Competition brings innovation and I look forward to that. Look at Senko baits and spinnerbaits. This practice has been going on a while. I'm sure it will mean better and more affordable things to come from both companies.

Rage Tail Swimmer
Yeah what are Chevy and dodge thinking. Ford made the first four door truck. Cant wait for these baits. My local shops don't carry keitech baits. I am also sure the rage swimmer will be a different density and other subtle differences.

Fluorocarbon line unraveling off spinning reel
How much line is on your spool? I like to leave about 1/8 to 1/16 of an inch from the spool lip.

Best baits to have in first bass tournament
Like others said use baits you have confidence in and HAVE FUN. I'm no veteran only one tournament but we got 2nd with 19lbs. My buddy and I worked together throwing different baits till we found what they wanted and did well. Our next tournament will be a little different. It's a much bigger one and 100 times the pay out. We will be happy with a top 10 payout. I'm gonna try confidence baits and we find them I'm gonna try bigger baits like the Spro rat, s waver, whopper plopper, and an a-rig.

Fishing Apparel
Talking about gloves. Buff makes some great gloves. I really enjoy Simms clothing but I have to say the buff gloves I like better.

Bass champs
I'm fishing Falcon in two weeks. I missed one already. If we do well we might try Amistad. Congrats on the win.

Backpack style tackle bag
Funny the TW bag was in stock a couple of days ago when I was looking. I ended up getting a Plano duffle style bag. The 3700 m series. Should be here next week. It will hold 8 3700 style boxes. Comes with 4. I currently have a jansport backpack with ziploc bags that separate my baits and terminal tackle. Tired of being a hobo on my buddies boat with my tackle strung out everywhere. Looks like a good bag of your not %100 set on a backpack style

Kayak trailer...
Neat trailer. What was the cost if you don't mind including it for others looking. I bought a used 5x8 utility trailer someone put a wood floor in. It's great. I have it set up to pull 3 kayaks and all the gear you want. I could(should) be able sale it for what I paid for the trailer and accessories. I like your trailer, seems light and easy to move.
