Is A Rubber Landing Net Worth It?
I use a rubber net solo. It’s heavier but not that bad I edited my original post after thinking about it, because heavy is relative to the person doing the lifting.

Anybody a fan of the 90s/00s Outer Limits?
I currently watch them on the Comet channel but don't remember seeing that one yet

Drone fishing is wrong!
So you are just long lining from the bank. Been done from boats for years

Is A Rubber Landing Net Worth It?
I switched to rubber because of the trebles hooking in the others. I'm usually netting my on fish and it is pretty heavy using one handed. I wouldn't switch back though

Anybody tried these yet???
So is it the builder that makes these expensive? Like a piece off art. I'm pretty sure a first year woodworking student could kick 10 of these a day out so I don't understand it I'm also a guitarist and don't understand why people pay $10,000 for a custom shop guitar. So I may just be cheap

Risky topic…what are your personal biases???
Lot of fishing research has led me to believe that in dirty water, the green colored crawdads can just safely swim around because the bass are eating the blue hued ones. In clearer water it's reversed and the darker color crawdads are safe

Floating worm
Bass pro has a house branded worm called floating worm

A weedless crankbait...
There was a series of cranks called back stabber that had the front treble on top. Changing the rear hook to a single turned upward would make those pretty weedless
-
Why are swimbait heads so pricey?
Check eBay. Alot of home pour guys sell on there.

Am I the only one?
I understand that and have to change my walking cadence as the lure gets closer to the boat because there is more line on the reel but I think most reel comparisons are assuming newer compact reels head to head
-
Am I the only one?
I'm guessing the spools are larger on the old reels?
-
Am I the only one?
Those old reels had to be slow when you were fishing with lures called Lazy Ikes

Buy out of Sportsman Warehouse comes apart.
I was in the Lexington store last week. Fully stoked but like mentioned before, A bit high. I know they are brick and mortar but $10.49 for a Strike King frog?

Am I the only one?
Yes. A 6xd all day on a 7.5:1 would cripple a man

Looking for a Jerkbait
Academy has a H2O 4 1/2" listed as floating with 2 trebles

Bring back one bait..
Timber tiger crank. I bought a few off eBay when they started to disappear
-
Why the need to change hooks on a hard bait?
I use whatever comes on them until they blunt unless I want shortys. No telling how many huge pond bass have been pulled out with old eagle claws.

June Bug - The Color
Those are June bugs in KY also

Tail up or down?
Tail up because I heard someone on a fishing show say that years ago. I was in sportsmans warehouse Sunday. They had some prerigged grub type musky lures. All of them were tail up

Favorite Sub $200 Crankbait Rod
I have a Mojo crank rod, a couple BPS cranking sticks, a couple Abu winch and some Shimano Sellus crank rods. I like them all. I don't understand the need for expensive cranking rods. I have an older Fritts glass rod but I'm not a fan. It just seems too noodlie. The grips are another area that I use to pick a cranking rod by. Unlike pitching where you are cradling the reel, long casts means that you will be holding the grip and possibly the butt. They have to feel right also. I couldn't use a rod with Winn grips

Trailer Hooks for Spinnerbaits
When I use a snap, I put a piece of small engine fuel line around the line tie to keep it from sliding. The fuel line will occasionally slide over the snap and up the line but not often

Trailer Hooks for Spinnerbaits
Make sure the eye of whatever you get is large enough to go over the barb of your spinner hook. I bought some small hooks labeled as trailer hooks and they wouldn't fit over the spinner hook

solder wire spinnerbaits
