Ive tried them off and on and think I may have caught one fish on them ever. One of the few so-called popular plastic baits Ive never done well on.

Is Alan the one from Blairsville GA ? I was thinking it was a couple years ago when he won. At the start of that season I picked him to win and rooted for him .

Anybody else like the show ? Its now one of the few shows I watch. I try to strategize with them and wonder how I would do out there. One thought I have is that, with the right water, I could survive mostly on fish. As for the wild animals, I think wolves could potentially be an issue, or the grizzly bears. I would not be concerned much with black bears or mountain lions. I wonder how long I could stay out there. Some of those people almost look like they could just stay out there for good.

Took the prop off and found a wad of line all around it. Got that all off, put prop back on, thinking that's surely whats wrong. Well, it still doesnt work. When the motor is in full tilt it works most of the time. When it is lowered to normal running position, it usually wont work atall. If I tap on the top of the box it spins a little. So somethings wrong in there. The pin was fine, by the way.

He's been around since it was still old Florida, and the whole state was pretty much still wilderness. • Monroe Campbell. He had his own local fishing show every week. He lived near me, and was always ready to talk fishing. His show was heavy toward N Florida freshwater fishing.

When I said that I primarily meant when they move near the bottom or make contact with it gas or oxygen bubbles from the muck float up. It seems feasible too that ,, since Gators and turtles are holding their breath they would occasionally release some oxygen too.

Will it be on TV ?

Its often turtles or Gators moving near the bottom which releases the bubbles. Ive seen big carp leave a trail too.

I totally agree with @WRB I caught a 21.5 inch bass that weighed 8.6 pounds. It was full of eggs and extremely well fed. The pic gundog posted above could have been the same fish.This is the fish but the pic doesn't do it justice.

I pretty much ate everything except asparagus ( which I love now ) and liver. Also could not stand peminto cheese sandwiches.

Good point. I haven't had it on a trailer because the boats in the lake behind my house. I'll try clamping it to a sawhorse and see if it's the angle, but it literally works fine until it hits the water so that would be amazing odds to have a short in the exact angle that it makes when it hits the water. I haven't had time to do anything else recommended yet but I'm getting closer !

My Grandkids wont eat leftovers either. But I'd bet they'd eat them if that's all there was ! I can always tell when my Grandaughter is about to ask me for something when she starts with " So , Grampa... I get a kick out of the epic story she creates to get me on board with whatever it is she wants.? I am trying to get my grandson to mow the WHOLE yard. So far , he will mow the front and part of the back, and then find an excuse to stop. Today it was his earache. Funny how it only seems to bother him when there's work involved. He's not lazy, Just motivationally challenged ! ? I know, I've been a teen ! But I do see improvement. I try to be a good example because their dad ( ex son in law ) could care less.

No. Where is it ? The motor does not run in the water. Nothing happens. When I pull it out of the water with the handle on, there is a pause , then it comes on. It also works if I pull it out , then turn it on. It appears to be as strong as ever. Connections and battery are good. If I have it running and put it into the water, it immediately shuts off.

I wish mine would go with me. Its been nearly a year since the last time she did. But at least she's ok with me fishing.

Welcome. What part of Florida ?

Not yet. I had thought it just needed new clamps and was getting a poor connection. I'll check that and for water intrusion like brew said. It seems to have full power out of the water so it seems like it would in the water too. But it won't turn it even slightly.

Thanks. I caught it on a 5 inch yam. senko, with their version of watermelon red. And it was the last one I had. It was almost torn in half from other fish.
