There are dozens of ponds near me.The residential ponds seem to all have fish.The ponds without houses don't seem to be as good.If its a brand new pond I don't fish it for awhile to let any fish grow up and let aquatic weeds get started.I rarely fish ponds that are void of weeds as I drive by.Of course,I don't fish in peoples yards , only common areas.If it looks good ,I stop and make some casts with my search baits , flukes or senkos.

Its fixing to be 80s this week but its also on big- time at work with no end in sight.Everyone in my area quit so now I've got most of their work.So ...

I snagged a 23 pounder last year.It was 32 inch.

Live shiners or bluegills !!!

I'm trying to pick up some fish on spinnerbaits this year.I mostly fish shallow weedy lakes that are fairly clear.What would be your choice if you could only take one spinnerbait?

Zoom has something similar to this.When you'd reel them in you could see wakes coming from the bass about to nail them. It was a very good bait but they would sometimes tear from casting before you even got a fish.I quit buying them because of it.

M/H 6.5 Ugly stick.10 pound original stren and watermelon seed fluke.Don't have a big preference on the reel but I'd prefer probably any diawa spinning reel with a high gear ratio.

I wasn't thinking about tournaments but I was fishing nearly every day.If I was thinking about being a pro.I'd join a club with some real experienced members Learn all I could and fish local tournaments, then enter bigger tournaments etc.

I caught my PB on a Mann's jelly worm,and Ive caught dozens of bass on it.Haven't fished with it lately though.When the top of the worm wore out I would keep cutting it off so one worm would go a long way. As for the Z.trick worm,I caught a 6 pounder on it and just caught a 4 so I'm starting to go to it more,esp.the watermelon red.

That's absurd.I can get the regular scheduled shows just not reruns.I wouldn't have vorizon ever.

Due to my schedule I have to watch xfinity on demand to catch up on my favorite.shows.The old Comcast format was great .It was easy to use and I could always find my shows.Now they've changed the format and all I can get is the dang future schedule .I just can't figure it out.Even my g- son who is an expert with new technology can't figure it out.Just venting but I guess I need to call Comcast, which is usually an ordeal.

I learned the most from 2 friends.One taught me the basics and the other taught me more detailed bass fishing.Since then,its mostly what I've learned by experience.My strength is Texas rigged plastics,which I'm confident in.By the way,that's what my 2 friends fished with.In fact, that's what ALL my friends fished with.If it works, why use anything else ,right?I have never fished with anyone that used other methods much, so I am relatively weak in those areas.So the moral of the story is, go with people who are successfull at different methods.

I catch a lot more with the 4.They are a lot of Dink's but there are some good fish mixed in.For some reason,I personally don't catch many with the 5s.I use 6s when I fish for bigger fish and do well, mostly in the summer.That's just me.I pinched an inch off some 5s and the bass loved them.

My 16 acre lake has been strange since we had a fish kill 5-6 years ago.All the bass over 2 pounds died and all the big bream.Now the bass fishing is about the same as it was before the kill,except the largest are only back up to 7 or so.Lots of fish all sizes.The bream are hard to understand.No slabs.Not too many hand sized fish even.Most of the fish are small, but there isn't as many as before.The bass are eating them I'm sure .Haven't caught any shiners at all in a long time.Not sure how to get the bream pop.back up besides a mass restocking.We used to catch 30-50 nice bream in an afternoon.Now you'd do good to get 10 in the same time frame and them just barely keepers.

I carry a rig with me to work sometimes.Great thing about sales-youre not on the clock!

Clear on a sunny day:Watermelon red and watermelon gold flake. Clear on a cloudy day:Watermelon seed. Clear in low light: Red shad I fish slightly stained lakes but they are pretty clear so that's what I use.Fished a very stained lake and they wanted bubblegum.I can't seem to catch any on watermelon majic or baby bass
