Finance guys, one question
I'm stuck on this question, I know the answer, but can't seems to get the answer..No shame in asking for help is there? ;D I was stuck in class and just barely missed my professor's office hour. Got a test tomorrow and this is only one I can't seem to figure out. Here it goes: Brookman Inc's latest EPS was $2.75, its book value per share was $22.75, it had 315,000 shares outstanding, and its debt ratio was 44%. How much debt was outstanding? I know the answer, I just can't seem to figure out how compute it, if similar problem shows up on test tomorrow I'll need know how to and I cannot find it anywhere in the book how to work it backward. If he had gave me total assets it would have made my life easier. ;D Oh yeah, there a class called management 305 aka Decision science. That class is f****** hard! I made a 100 on my cost accounting test and I'll be lucky to get a B in that class..maybe lucky to get a C. :-/

Roller coasters anyone?
I rode the SheiKra at Busch Garden in Tampa when it first open. It was pretty darn sweet. Best wooden roller coaster I have ridden to date is Thunderhead at Dollywood.

MW2 Bragging
I played Fourbizz a couple times. He's pretty legit. I'll take him on my team over an Asian kid.

Could you pass 8th grade in 1895?
Is question number 6 in arithmetic even possible? Maybe I'm spoiled, but it doesn't tell you when the interests accrues. Days, months, or what? Or at the time did they assume it was in days?

College Football's Dumb and Dumber
Les Miles is NOT a coaching genius. He only 5-0 because of John Chavis. He in for a rude awaken when Arkansas, Alabama, and Auburn steps onto the field.

Time
I don't know about the helmet, but if LSU had 12 players the replay would have saw it. That how Tennessee got caught. Pretty fairly certain they would have counted both side of ball during the review...

I could have kicked myself
If you were a midget you could kick yourself in the head.

Time
I'm pretty sure I watched 15 seconds melt off the clock when they could have just spike the ball...Jordan Jefferson was just looking around and the center hiked it to avoid end of game...Hilarious. I feel for Tennessee though. Clearly there was 13 players on field at the time the ball was snapped...

Time
I have trouble managing time when I take tests, so I picked up a copy of Les Miles' book on Time Management. It does wonder, I highly recommend you to pick it up today. ;D

Cosigning a college loan???
There only one way to get school loan now....I don't think it was gear towards your credit, but rather towards your income. Least that was mine understanding. The amount I qualified was base on my parents' income.
-
Cosigning a college loan???
Not sure how much it hurts or lowers your credit since co-signing loans does indeed increase your liability which can affect your future borrowing. I really don't think you should worry too much long as your son and stepdaughter are paying back the loan. Did you get subsidized loan? If so, I wouldn't sweat it for couple years, but if you got unsubsidized or any others then I'll make sure monthly interest is being paid.... Just my 2 cents.

Sports Drink.
I just don't know about that. 20 oz of Everclear? My friend couldn't stand upright with 6 ounce let alone 20......Plus the fact you're mixing an upper with downer makes it more sketchy. ;D

Sports Drink.
Really? I haven't had a kidney stone, but I figure if I was going to have one it would been due to all the soda. I only drink water, tea, gatorade, vitamin water, fruit juices, and that about it. I occasionally drink soda when I'm eating out, but I have no soda in my fridge. I love an ice cold gatorade after a bike ride. The glacier freeze. Have you tried the gatorade pre-game drink and post-game drink? I had 'em both they are alright, the post-game drink I had was a little sweet, but it was drinkable.

Longhorns pounded
Alabama had a sophomore QB to lead them to a national title in 1992. Of course it wasn't called BCS back then, but he was youngster. ;D

Thinking of ROTC for college?
I almost went out-of-state too, but I wised up when I realized I could get more paid for staying in-state than going out-of-state. It lessen the burden of debt after graduation. Just get your GPA up and you'll rack up some lottery scholarships. However, if you slip below 3.0 in college you lose your lottery scholarship and I'm pretty sure once you lose it, you don't get it back. Or it very hard to get back. I know some people that lost it and cannot get it back. I cannot remember all of the lottery requirements, but it was something like that. I got a different scholarship. I never applied for lottery since I was at the community college for free, but when I got to ETSU I already had so many credit hours and it made me ineligible to receive the lottery.

Thinking of ROTC for college?
You live in Tennessee, get the grades for the lottery scholarship. ROTC here at ETSU will pay for your housing. (the amount they pay will vary base on year in the program.) I assumed it the same everywhere else. You can get a lottery scholarship to cover huge chunk of tuition or all of your tuition depending on your parents' income. If you still need a student loan, just tell your parents to hush. You can get a student loan without their signature and all that. My dad will not pay a dime of my student loan (even though it really small.) it all my responsibility. Student loan is what I call a lender of last resort. The only thing my dad does for me is money for food and books. Scholarship pays my tuition and fees, loan pays my rent, daddy pays my food. lol. Edit: Look into a community college in your area, even if you get a small lottery scholarship award it could cover all of your tuition at a community college, then when you set to transfer you could get a transfer scholarship on top of the lottery. I did two years at a community college for free. This is my third year and I just now took out a student loan. I got beat out for the transfer scholarship, they only award two people a year or something. Oh well.

mmmmm...
I could live without Jack In the Box, Golden Corral, and perhaps Popeyes. Waffle House is best in this list. Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwhich, hashbrown with cheese is the classic meal there. I ate there for lunch today. I had a 3 egg cheesesteak omelette hashbrown with cheese. Love that place. I eat at Chik-Fil-a once a week (we have one on campus) they got awesome cookie n cream milkshake. Best chicken restaurant has to be Zaxby with their Zax sauce... Zax sauce to me, is like meth to a methhead. ;D

anybody know the name of mark ingram's surgeon?
I guess they've been drinking their hatorades. ;D

Longhorns pounded
When was the last time Jordan Jefferson threw a TD pass or passed over 100 yards?
-
anybody know the name of mark ingram's surgeon?
Are you saying Ingram is taking PED or HGH? Seriously? he had arthroscopic surgery, the recovery rate from such surgery is much quicker than say repairing a torn ACL...His injury wasn't that severe in the first place. The Vanderbilt runningback had the same surgery 2-3 weeks prior to season opener and he made it back in time to play the opener.

anybody know the name of mark ingram's surgeon?
Me too.
