Same here. This was caught using a popmax. I lost one last month when she spat my chatterbait. Last year I saw one swimming near the surface and saw me then started swimming towards me. I was in shock and instinctively grabbed my net and held it out and she swam right into it. Later I leaned it was illegal to net one.

Had a few hours to kill so I go to my spot only to see people already there so I take up my buddies offer to do a little bit of trespassing.

over here in PA it states youre allowed to take one cast at a bedding fish. Who knows if anyone will abide by that law but I will. At least thats what I hope I'll do.

Decided not to take the hour drive to Marsh or the nox and instead fish in places near me that's the size of thier parking lots. I caught this in a small Shallow pond that's less that 1000 ft long and less than 100 ft wide.

my buddies were at marsh today. looks like they caught the skunk too.

Well the only spot I can say is fdr which is where I caught my last one. It's highly pressured but I've caught my share there. You can launch a kayak there as well. South jersey is another area to look at.

Took the kayak out for a quick 2 hour sesh at my local pond. Yeah it was windy, raining and cold but so what?

Fished nockamixon again for a few hours. The presence of grass is such a nice change from the sprayed grassless marsh creek.The wind was managble but still a factor. Got two on the chatter bait.

Decided to try nockamixon for the first time. I realized a few weeks ago its about the same drive time as marsh. Launched at the three mile boat ramp so I can try the southern end first. Found some milfoil in some areas and got some bites by ripping my chatter bait out of clumps. Lost one trying to lift her out of the water cos I forgot to bring my net but I managed to get this small guy in.

i used them and caught some nice fish on them too but like others have said theyre not too durable. a few of mine had tiny tears where the line tie meets the head of the frog and that led to water getting in. But that happened after a few nasty snakeheads had their way with them. Another one i had the weight flung off. I didnt reorder any this year.

Yeah man the wind has kept me off the water a lot more than i expected.

Ive never caught one on a lipless. i have a few and i take a few casts once in a blue moon with them but i never had confidence in them.
