  4. if devoted leader line is 27 yards and 8$ while mainline fluorocarbon is 15$ for 200yards give or take, wouldn't it be more economical to use mainflorocarbon as a leader?
  5. I recently picked up a new reel for cranks spinnerbaits jigs, etc. I need new line, I also have a 25$ bps gift card. Which line is good, clear (I know gc is best), strong, abrasion resistant, supple and thin. I recluse I might not get all the traits but thanks.
  6. I bought a new reel (as some people know). I got it for moving baits like cranks spinnerbaits and swim jigs, etc. 6.3:1 gear ratio. I like 15 pound line and want to know if invisx is worth paying more? Thanks
  7. Strike King Tournament Buzzbait, 3/4 oz Sexy Shad no trailer. I only have one and I bought it online, I thought it would cast really far being 3/4 oz, but i have to reel 100mph to keep it above water. go lighter no trailer but use a trailer hook.
  8. Lol! I can get 4 of these reels, because I have 206 bones in my body. In all seriousness though, they seem like great reels, but I caught the Cabela's Arachnid on sale.
  9. Well, people made lots of recommendations for the Daiwa Tatula line. The Cabela's Arachnid is a reel engineered by Daiwa, and it is very similar to the Tatula line of reels, with upgraded features. I was able to catch a sale where I could get it within my budget; meanwhile, using the recommendation of other people who may or may not be not on this site. So thanks for the advice, and hopefully this will help other anglers with a budget similar to mine. Thanks for all the help provided by the anglers of bass resource.com and the aspiring comedian (Hootie*)!
  10. I just ordered the Cabela's Arachnid 6.3:1 reel for 109$
  11. dark in stained or night waters lighter in clear water also match the hatch in clear water
  12. it works for numbers and the occasional big girl best in clear water
  13. use tungsten wacky jig heads or peg an egg sinker with a small hook
  14. the best way to find out is to try it
  15. 130, unless forage is smaller or bigger MATCH THE HATCH
  16. smallmouth are genetically inclined to attack pink lures, try a pink finesse worm dropshotted or a neko rigged seiko
  17. match the hatch with color and size and trailer
  18. anyone have any feedback on this reel or know if it is good?
  19. I am getting a 6.3:1 Cabela's Arachnid Reel and a 7'1" MH Tournament ZX Rod. I am leaning towards 15 pound tub line force, it is on sale will this work?
