i am alittle north pools 11&12 crankbaits and spinnerbaits work good as well as frogs in the grass

My brother did that this last summer with a Jackall Giron lure was maybe 2 casts old and it came off his norman clip $20 dollar lure now sitting on the bottom of favorite lake

It happens every year where i live winter comes and the carp and shad school up around warmer water discharges.

Here is my latest eBay shipping problem I bought 2 crank baits , 1 at a time from the same seller shipping was 3.99 a lure. I bought these lures 2 days apart paid for each 1 separately, when i receive them the both packaged together and shipping was $1.57 I sell a lot of stuff on eBay and my shipping is $3.00 a lure but with that 3.00 i buy the envelope delivery conformation and insurance if its over 10 bucks and multiple items i give a discount I messaged the guy and told him his shipping was outrageous i explained if i receive each item separately i wouldn't of bitched but got both items and no delivery conformation so i told him i would give him a chance to make it right before i left feedback [i was on my lunch break] when i got home he refunded all my money so i sent him a message what am i supposed to do send the lures back. He replied with a no call it an early Christmas present. yes we have been having some good weather i live in dubuque along the mississippi river and the fishing on the river has been horable all year but last weekend we found them probally caught 10 or more bass all between 2lbs- 3 1\2 lbs

i would add a spinner-bait to your tackle going to that pond. I fish a few different ponds that look similar and always tore them up with a 3\8oz white spinner-bait

I have owned both reels mg50 super sweet super light you get this reel you will be hooked with super light reels only problem light reels cost more money. Will it work with smaller lighter cranks? Yes it throws the lighter stuff awesome tell you get to about 1\2 oz in my opinion then i feel you over work the reel. Stx one brute of a reel strong powerful heavy. Will do everything you need it to do but I feel the mg would be a better reel if you are just going to fish lighter weight lures.Hope this helps.

Mattman could help you out but he is expensive. Well worth the money never heard a bad complaint. Could try e21 heard there doing micro guides or you could try Kistler they have a line of micro guide rods

I agree to every thing you said in the last post. That's exactly how it happen. I had a bad transaction with him. We both probably PMed you about each other. He disappears for a while, then comes back with his accident story and how he can never fish again. Now he wants to sell his stuff. Well I knew what he was like so I wasn't buying it. Then I posted and you probably thought here we go again and shut it down before it could start. I never put my self in your place and forget all the things you guys must do to keep the peace.

I had a megabass bearing down baitcast rod Real sweet rod. All there stuff is top notch.

I have the 6'2"mh gold carrot stick. I really like the rod alot. First impression I thought it was a bit weak for the action but the more I use it the more I like it.

i really like the McCoy Mean Green Braid

i use braid on all my rods and reels spinning to baitcasting braid is on my rod i would never go back to mono since this post is about pp braid i will say its my second favorite braid i have tryed them all and have found only 1 i like better the noise doesnt bother me any and i havnt noticed any eye damage and i have been using braid for many years

water temp was 46-48 we where fishing a creek that runs in to the Mississippi river river temp was 42-44 air temp wasn't much better had a south wind around 15mph

i caught 5 small mouth bass today all between 16-17 inches 4 where caught on a Lucky Craft Staysees 90 ver.2 1st 2 pics where the biggest at 17" a tad under 3lbs 1 was caught on plastic my brother caught 3 on plastics all where just under 16 with 1 being 16"
