  1. my wife used to be like, u fish to much, u spend to much on fishing stuff then 1 day it all changed now she wants to go every time i go except last week we were out at 6am and it was like 30 out and had to run up the river about 15 miles she was froze and said ok im done for the year but come spring u will be taking me again
  2. i have really good luck on them i switched out the hooks for some larger 1 missed alot of bites or they would come off the hook half to the boat
  3. they have a way around that 2 they charge u peenys for the lure and tons on shipping then when u return it u dont get ur shipping back dam crooks

  5. i just got trophy bass 7 its a bass pro game u use there lures it pretty good i also have that pro bass fishing 2003 id say those are the 2 best that they have out right now
  6. i use berkley bionix..$50 at walmart my wife has 1 and she uses it for cranks, spinnerbaits, and jigs that rod is pretty dang good for the price unless u have a fishing store close bye i got a shimano compere for $40 at cabelas a few years ago just have to watch for sales

  11. terminator soft plastic hog tails they are the bomb junebug is the hottest color i was using them and my brother uses wolly hog tails and i was kicking his butt bad only thing is there like 10 bucks a bag on ebay the only place i can find them

  13. i would look at the shimano compere i had 1 and there a very nice rod and there warrenty can not be beat
  14. i am a flyer my job is i do everything so all my press operator has to do is push a few buttons its fun loading 2500 pound rolls of paper dippin ink in and out all the fun dirty stuff that no one else wants to do
  15. this is a true story i have gone round and round with a few people on this site over rods and reels when most ask for hints or tips some will say spend lots i have used mid level rods and reels my whole life i bought 1 loomis imx sold all my other rods and reels bought more i have 2 loomis imx's had a avid g blank and a arruis cheaper stuff works but i have caught more and bigger fish with my upper end stuff i say its because of the better equiment that i did better and strongly think more money means better its like everything else in life
  16. i have had many rods but my wife says 3 is my limit so here are my 3 they are g loomis 724 imx with a mg50 with zpi handle airrus ultra xl uxlc681mh with a curado 100d g loomis 844 imx with a revo stx
  17. they get bigger in ponds and lakes i have fished the river for about 23 years and those were some of my best can catch 1-3 pounders all day bigger 1s are very few and far between

  19. went out friday and saturday fishing was great has been pretty spotty but not this weekend started friday in the blue shirt small pond u can access from the river didnt weigh him caught loads of bass 14-17 inches then this pig right before callin it a night she went 4lbs. 10oz. my biggest weighted and photographed bass then came saturday we went up river about 20 miles to looking for any cleanier water tryed aneither back water pond caught lots of bass few small northerns caught this almost 4 pounder then followed it with my biggest bass i have ever caught this pig went 5.36 lbs. the big females were just starting to move up to there spawning beds
  20. i bought 1 it came in the mail there was a big run on the rod so needless to say i wasnt happy emailed the guy his response was i was to anal about my fishing stuff i sent him the rod back and he sent me a new 1 he makes a pretty good rod but its no lommis which he claims there better then i dont think so fished the rod 1 time caught 3 bass and a northern 2 3pounders a 2 pound and a little northern and the rod did feel pretty sweet i bought a boat and needed trolling motor battiers so i sold the rod that is the only reason i got rid of that rod 1 very sweet rod for around $150
  21. u will very happy with the mg i rember when i first bought mine and put it on my loomis ;D ;D ;D i also bought a zpi handle for it
  22. it all depends on the motor and boat if the boat doesnt leak and is in good shape and pray its a all welded jon that motor is really old and the motor is the most expensive thing on ur boat trailors are pretty cheap u can get a new 1 around for around $800 i had a 1970 18' polar craft jon boat came with a 20 horse motor and junky trailor i think i paid $800 for every thing had the boat 5 years used it every weekend tell the river froze and was one of the first out when it thawed

  24. i own that rod and yes it would work great for spinnerbaits and everything else u need a smaller rod for this is a heavy rod that fishes and looks like a med rod i love mine wouldnt sell it for anything i got mine real cheap $150 i think loomis is no longer making this model and put them all on sale not possative but i heard it somewhere
