I have switched to the Gamy SkipGap hook, I have great hookup ratios and the plastic doesn't slide up the hook and lend to a fish comning unhooked. As far as flukes I am considering trying what a guy in our club does with his. He rigs them with a 5/0 yes I said 5/0 treble. It isn't at all weedless but I fish a fluke above submerged weeds and in open water anyway.

My b-i-l and s-i-l are both mechE's he is the normal egghead no common sense that you expect in an engineer especially one that is a professor and now teaches it at Mercer University. She isn't to bad actually she does have common sense and you wouldn't know she is a brainiac just from the first impression although she does let it slip through sometimes. Don't think that helps any, just a little tidbit.

The water is allready UNTHAWED!! For those that don't get it unthawed is frozen, thawed is unfrozen. I don't know why but it irks me hearing people say unthawed when talking about something being unfrozen.

Just run by the Tiger mart, they have an old machine right there in the store and is as good if not better than any movie theatre I been to.

I had -4 in the truck on the way to work. Diesels don't like that chit, didn't start blowing warm air out of the heat till I was about 2-3 miles form the store.
