That would be the preffered route. I pull my 17' BassTracker with my wifes van no problem. A friend used to pull his 19' fiberglass with his Astro van. Although I have put hitches on some stuff you wouldn't believe.

I have one of each and like them both. I like the magnetic brakes on the Revo better than the centrifugal's on the E. As far as casting I can't tell much difference between the two. Comparing them to a D there is no comparison, the new E's and the STX are much nicer and easier to fish. Lighter weight, better drag, freer spools and jsut plain feel better in your hand. The best thing I can tell you is that you will not be disappointed with either the biggest decision will be which brake system do you like best.

The only thing I would be concerned about is will it be the same price. If so why in the world would you buy the scaled down US version. If it's like any other US/Japanese version it won't have the same features such as knob and worm bearings.

Didn't get much at the store before I left for the evening around 5:30. Got home a 6" tree down across the driveway nothing much else power flickered a few times. Got to the store this morning didn't see any evidence of anything much, strange since I am only a few mile from where Burley works and settin right in the corridor between the mountains that all the weather comes through before it gets to him. Don't know if the power went out here at the store or not, but my new computer wouldn't work this mornin when I got here. Called Dell apparently power supply is crapped out. Still under warranty but they can't get the part to the service center and get anything done till tommorow. Luckily had an old comp at home I can use.

I'm gonna end up with one or more of these yet thanks to you.

You fished with TheBeast for who knows how long and those reels are the ugliest things you have ever seen? In all seriousness, they are fugly. He's to blinded by my fishin skillz to notice.

Now when we head up to Stone Wall this year something will happen and I will somehow end up out of the boat while AJ and I are fishing. You won't believe this one. I asked the wife what she would like to do Saturday and she says let's go to Cherokee Lake. Not sure if I get to take the boat or not but at least it's not a chick flick.
