  1. Any particular reason you would choose a MH rod to throw 1/4 oz baits? I realize that 1/4 is within the rating, just curious I guess.
  2. Pretty sure I have personally told you this before. Post in the right section. What are you asking about? A bait. Thus, post in the tackle section and don't rely on the mods to move your posts.
  3. http://www.tackletour.com/previewpinnacleperfectarods.html There are some stats in the article. PM sent, Pinnacle1
  4. Fluke or a Creepy Crawler.
  5. Well, looky there... http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1276871748
  6. Just buy the Avid already... A 6'6" MH Avid will do everything you want it to do. Learn to tie knots quickly. Don't get hung up on being the guy with the most toys.
  7. Bubba shot away... http://www.***.com/West_Coast_Tackle_QuickDrops_Drop_Shot_Weight/descpage-WCQD.html
  8. Toto (not a misspelling ;D) will still get KTFO by Chuck. Guys win fights with "heart" all the time. I have yet to see a guy win without a spine.
  9. Yeah, I had seen it done with the Ripplin' Redfin too. You are correct that I dont necessarily want to try it on the cracker. There is quite a bit more bill there. The possibility of overheating and/or burning is very real with my lack of skill. ;D
  10. I like the little Cracker, but I have one complaint. I wish the bill was a tad more vertical so I could fish it a little faster as a wake bait. As is, you have to reel painfully slow (to me) to get the bait to stay on top.
  11. You're unreal man. ;D That last fish is absolutely sick looking, totally obese. Choke huh? Nice.
  12. After seeing PitchinKid use the fluke on Kentucky Lake this year, I have gone through about 5 packs of the things already. I use it around shallow cover, grass mostly, down to a max depth of around 4 ft or so. I rip it, dart it, let it flutter and repeat. I havent gone deeper with it as there are other techniques that are better suited.
  13. Yep, green pumpkin for me. PS: check the correct forum to post bait questions. If you scroll down, there is a tackle forum.
  14. I know exactly what the OP (from long ago ;D) is talking about, I just don't know what it is. The smallmouth I catch in Vermont every year have these dots all over them. Gives their skin a rough, bumpy texture and they are about the size of a pinhead.
  15. Joslyn James and Rachel Uchitel
  16. Wacky rigged Trick Stick or Zoom Finesse/Trick worm. Money.
  17. Ahh, I see you have a problem playing the WITH ponies. Fixed that for ya. That statement now correctly applies to Burley. ;D
  18. I was ripping them off beds last week, but you are a bit further south than I. Francho's map is a good indicator.
  19. Meadow Grounds is gay. ;D Friggin' hate that place.
  20. Great to hear man. Those Punkers are nice. I actually forgot to get a 5" to try out. Maybe if they have a 4th of July sale... Gotta get out there to Redman sometime soon. Night bite should be turning on there (and everywhere else) pretty soon.
  21. Buy a Spro or Snag Proof and be done with it. Sometimes, cheaper is not better.
  22. I put soap in the rookie's coffee. Car RamRod!!!
  23. You won't see them there. www.mattlures.com www.***.com

Fellas, I don't think he is having a problem with storing the glass bottles in plastic containers. The way I read it, he dumped the liquid INTO a plastic Plano container. JJ's and anything but glass don't mix well.
  25. I have 5 of the hardgills and currently two ultimate bluegills (soft) left after giving some to non-believers. I have one particular Male Hardgill that seems to be on my line more than the others. It is beat up from me throwing it against things, stepping on it in the boat and generally beating the crap out of it. I have caught fish ranging from 10 inches up to 6-4lbs on this bait and it works (to me) as well or better than the day I bought it. The hard baits are durable, for sure. If you follow the directions for soft bait care on Matt's site, you will find them to last for quite a few fish as well.
