  1. IMO, if you go in looking for "easy" then you've already failed. Good luck to you.
  2. Check out Predator and Big Hammer.
  3. The Outdoors Show at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex is pretty weak as far as displaying new lures and for fishing overall. It is basically outfitters from all over the world attempting to book hunting and fishing trips. In all the years I've gone, I've never booked a trip with anyone from the show. It seems really "used car salesman" to me.
  4. I didn't notice a dramatic increase in the size of fish I catch until I started throwing realistic and larger baits. Throw what makes you confident. I'm a firm believer that confidence in what you are doing is a bigger factor than what lure you select.
  5. You know my feelings on it. BTW, your state record is 9oz higher than ours and yours was just upped an oz in 2008. Ours has stood still for over 30 years.
  6. That red rod is tough looking man! I dig it.
  7. LOL, that ol' girl would give most baits a run for their money.
  8. Stripers and blues will put a hurting on that bait.
  9. It's either a copy or version of an ABT Banshee that isn't branded. They sink quickly. They have a decent swim to them.
  10. Looks like he said NC there bud. That's about as much as you'd get from me too.
  11. Shane, is that the 12 or the 5?
  12. I stand corrected. Thanks Roger.
  13. Roger, since I know you to be a detail oriented guy, a bullet doesn't technically begin to fall the moment it loses support from the barrel. All bullets rise, to some degree, before falling to zero and then to its final impact.
  14. Saw that fish on FB yesterday (Oliver posted it up). That thing is a stud man!
  15. See if you can confirm that date. I've yet to get down to one of those and I'd like to show up and BS for a while.
  16. Hey, need a wedding photographer?
  17. Not for the 8", no.
  18. Technically it's 6.88" but it's on par size-wise with the 8" Hudd. It doesn't have the glide of the 250 out of the box. With a little tinkering, it's not too bad though.
  19. They do, it's called a 175. LOL
  20. 45-50? As much as I'm not a fan, throw a hudd.
  21. LOL, it was big when Jeff sent me a text and it looks even better blown up on my screen. Congrats man!
  22. Any trout nuggets planted in your system is better than no trout nuggets planted in your system. I'm actually thinking it may be beneficial for the angler in that big fish will have to eat higher numbers of trout to get the same benefit. I can see that increasing your odds of fooling big mama with a swimbait. The downside to that is more of the real thing in the water = less chance of you fooling big mama.

Sam, check out the Ruger LCR. I've sold a boatload of them in both .38 and .357 without a single customer returning with a complaint. The SP101 is an awesome gun too but the LCR is a lightweight version that is better suited for CCW.
  24. I've never heard a complaint from someone that shoots the round. Just seems like an all-around good cartridge, especially where we live.
