  1. If they are all covered up by houses, try knocking on doors and being nice about it. A little appreciation goes a LOOOOOOOONG way.
  2. Won't happen unless there is reasonable suspicion of intoxication. Besides, you'd have to be a complete jackass to get high/drunk on tourney day and expect to actually fish for 8 hours with any kind of edge.
  3. Have you ever heard of a PETA member being physically assaulted (in self defense ) in south central PA? I've never heard of one so they must not approach too many of us here.
  4. Fish what you have man! You've got a lot of areas covered there and all of them should catch you fish. Put in the time with what you have and trust me, the fish will come.
  5. Thought the same thing, wasn't sure if he was your buddy and just ribbing you or if that was a cheap shot....
  6. First I've seen that Micro Anchor in a vid. Diggin' it.
  7. That's a good thing when you are night fishing. Like Ajay said, use just enough light to allow you to safely complete your task at hand. Otherwise, enjoy the dark.
  8. The skin was still on it. I don't drink any more but I believe I tried to accomplish this when I did. That may have been a factor.
  9. How deep was the fish caught? Topwater but in 36 FOW Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? Yes Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? Natural If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? Super Moon
  10. I always had a tendency to dry fish out in the smoker. I'll stick with red meat and the other white meat.
  11. I understand being attached, trust me. LOL If I would not have trimmed the beard in December for a wedding, it would be pushing 9 or so inches right now.
  12. Atta boy! Keep chucking them man, it only gets better.
  13. You lost me at getting rid of the beard. Negative.
  14. There are better swimbaits out there but as a rule of thumb for how to fish just about any swimbait.....slow.
  15. I go to the store. It's not because I see something wrong with eating keeper size bass, I'm just lazy. I fully understand the benefits of people keeping bass and if they are of legal size, at or under the legal number kept and caught using legal means (including having a license) then by all means eat 'em up!
  16. I prefer mid day into night.
  17. Good luck.
  18. If you're gonna fish swimbaits, buy one quality hardbait and fish the crap out of it. You will learn SOOOO much only fishing one bait, it will make your head spin. Like Deep said, pony up the money for a Mattlures Hardgill and start throwing. If you're not catching soon then you are doing something wrong. That's one bait that you don't need fish's feedback to be learning something.
  19. We both know that isn't happening...
  20. Dammit! I forgot my foil hat again today!!!!!!! Seriously though, I wouldnt post anything on there that I wouldnt want to share anyway. No big deal for me....I've received more than enough "compensation" from posting stuff on FB to make it worth my while.
  21. Guessing around 4.5 or so.
  22. I need a consulting job.
  23. In all honesty, yes, unless you have someone around you that is knowledgeable on the subject. You can read all you want on the internet and while that is helpful, there is NOTHING that can replace time on the water with someone who knows their stuff. It can get frustrating banging big baits and not getting feedback from the fish. Having someone encouraging you who has been there and understands the dedication it takes definitely lessens the learning curve.
  24. Drag a heavy carolina rig with a tungsten weight. You'll get feedback. Electronics haven't always existed or even been very good. There are ways, just gotta get creative. You can also typically look at the surrounding terrain and gauge what it looks like under the water. Maybe look for contour maps of the area or if it's a man-made lake see if you can locate a map of the area before it was impounded.
  25. And your patience level?
