  1. I wasn't going to get into that here....but is it bashing if it's the truth? Both guys have their fans but from a bait standpoint, IMO, the HH is a better built and finished bait.
  2. Hey, that's awesome. I have a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a bit of life experience. Intent is not BS. Armchair legal advice however....
  3. www.fishatl.com/swimbait last time I checked. His number is on that website, give him a call. He is on Facebook too.
  4. Haha, $50 is a good price compared to some of the baits out there. I hear ya though, I used to scoff at the price of some stuff and then magic started happening....
  5. High Power Herring. Better bait overall.
  6. Didn't know the boats had to be registered. He didnt seem to think it was a big deal though. I launch the boat, he gets in my car and drives it and the trailer to his house. I motor around to where he lives and pick him up. From what he told me, you only get hassled if you let the vehicle/trailer at the launch. They check the vehicles for the permit. I personally wouldnt fish it without a resident on my boat.
  7. I'm also down to try Black Hills or any other MD lakes if someone needs a rider. LOL
  8. The Hydra Tail is a good bait, pretty darn small in the swimbait world though. A 12" fish would have no problem getting that bait in it's mouth.
  9. I have not seen it yet but heard it's pretty good from a few very reliable sources. Not really educational but certainly there is some stuff to pick up from the vid if you pay attention.
  10. Ok, I was going to say I'd bring my boat down to fish with you. I have a buddy that lives up from the launch. I've fished there once and it was AWESOME!
  11. MARsSPEED, you live at Lake Linganore?
  12. Nope, just for the young guys. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/120954-tackle-giveaway-for-the-younger-members/
  13. Winner has been posted.
  14. ZachB. I used a random number generator and plugged in 1-16 for the young guys who put in a guess. Zach, please contact ShaneJ to exchange your information. Just throwing it out there, but since you suggested I share the prize with everyone we shall see how you are with putting your money where your mouth is. I will have the secret jig supplier contact you via PM as well. Congrats and thanks to the young guys who participated. Wayne
  15. Ok, so the number guessing didnt work out. I thought I'd go with whoever was closest, but that's not gonna work either. I'm drawing a name at some point today. Winner will be posted in a new thread and I will PM the winner and the guys who are sending stuff out.
  16. I had a member step up and offer the winner 6 jigs to go along with the Rage stuff, just to sweeten the pot a bit. I may have to do a twist to the rules using the fellas that have responded. You guys may just have to do a little more work than simply guess a number.... Letting this up until the end of the day and then I'll make the final decision. Good luck.
  17. I'll let it run a little while longer. I guess I over-estimated the number of under-16 folks we have here. If it comes down to it, I'll throw the names of the members who have guessed into a hat and draw a name out.
  18. Wow, that's all the young members? Guess no one wants to win some stuff?
  19. Shane J was kind enough to offer up a great assortment of RageTail product to the winner of the State vs State competition. Since I already have a TON of Big O's great products, I thought it would be cool to do a giveaway for the younger members of BassResource.com Number guessing game: Guess a number between 0 and 100 Rules are simple: 1. You must be 16 years old or under to be eligible 2. You get ONE GUESS. Multiple guesses will not count. 3. You MUST post a pic of the hawgs you are gonna catch with these baits. I've already told Shane what the number is. I'll keep an eye on the thread and the first one that guesses correctly I will notify on the thread and via PM. At that point, I'll let Shane know and he will PM you for shipping info. Please post a pic of you and your winnings once you receive it. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!
  20. Dwight, sent you a PM. Let me know.
  21. What's your draw length and what do you want to spend? I've never shipped a bow but could check what it would cost. I have a compound that I'm not using any more and it's a GREAT bow. Browning Mirage 33 I believe.
  22. I was not personally aware that numbers went that high. Congrats!
