  1. ^ This guy could write books on customer service. I have a shirt from Mattlures, paid for and worn proudly by me.
  2. Might seem harsh but this is light compared to the grief you would get on a musky forum.... That fish should not have died. You were caught unprepared and the fish paid for it. That's an OLD fish, probably swimming around before you were a glimmer in your dad's eye. I'm not a tree hugger and I support selective harvest with some species in the appropriate size categories but this isn't one of them. You got to experience a fish in a size class that a BUNCH of people only dream about and in dragging the fish around to get a pic you killed it. No bueno man, no bueno. I posted a pic last year of me holding one vertically by the gill and got schooled on the proper way to hold them. Obviously, they are a tad bigger than bass and built differently. The vertical hold is definitely not the way to go with these long fish, especially one of this size. Take care of ALL your fish but one this size? It needs extra care. Hopefully you are either prepared next time to photo/release or you just release the fish with the satisfaction of knowing what you caught.
  3. Thanks for your concern.
  4. LOL, I have a couple pair that are getting pretty well broken in. That red USC shirt was good to me for quite some time as well
  5. I'm back on. Been unable to connect since this morning.
  6. Dwight, it has been too long since an Erie trip. We shall try this spring.
  7. I use it as a net and a trotline also. It's multi-functional.
  8. I've got stickers on my boat from sponsors on here who have treated me well and whose products I believe in. I also could give two poops what someone else thinks of me. Must be the beard.
  9. LOL, used to! I've settled into the married/parenting life now. Those days of big benching are many years and joint injuries in the past.
  10. They are REALLY old school. I've only ever seen a couple. They have come down in price considerably. First ones I ever saw went for around 200 or so. Last one I saw sold was a boot tail floater for around 75 bucks.
  11. Wrong, young 'un. Think twice, speak once.
  12. I dont see anything.
  13. Hadn't seen this until today. Hope for a speedy recovery and some fishing time for you soon.
  14. Raystown sucks too, don't get it twisted. Two day tournament not long ago, 6 fish limit per day. 27lbs won. Not exactly lighting the place on fire. I did catch a couple over 4 the day before that tournament though. Didnt fish the T.
  15. LMAO, just saw this. Yep, that's my store. In addition to my day job, I work there in the evenings wherever they need me and coordinate all the gun drawings for the store.
  16. Tom, you sure about Butch and Roman Made? You may be thinking about the Deps 250.
  17. Been fishing with the Deps 250 recently, a couple other glides and wakes in the 6-7oz and 10-11 inch range.
  18. 20 bucks? I wish swimbaits cost that much. I hear ya though. I realize I'm a special kind of crazy. LOL
  19. Northeast fish tend to be short and fat around me. This one was from earlier in the year, only 22" long.
  20. My wife put my costas on the other day. Her expression? "It's like seeing everything in HD." Yeah, they are awesome.
  21. Oh, boo hoo. I catch too many big, toothy fish. I dont like to catch big fish. Waaaaah!
  22. PA isn't New England, so I'll sit and watch.
  23. This one time Bobby U told me I was pretty. I classify this as a "bad" experience.
  24. Even after consuming the amount of vodka that was downed during that trip you still couldn't convince me that fish is 44lbs.
  25. I'm good for a day, just not sure which one yet. Still rollin' electric only.
