thanks for all the help. Sounds like I need to bring worms, senkos, frogs, and maybe a moving bait. Will the fish be more active this time of year since it's the coldest it will get even though it's still warm?

Ok thanks. Think I might get the striker 4. Is it difficult to tell apart structure and type of structure on regular sonar?

I was decided on the striker 4 dv but west marine ran out of them and 180 is too expensive. I mainly want this for identifying brushpiles, stumps, and creek channels as well as fish. The elite 3x has only dsi while the striker 4(not 4 dv) has only sonar. Thanks!

I purchased a used sun dolphin sportsman. It came with seats that are different than the one it comes with. I bought seat supports, and used a nut and bolt to attach the seat swivel to the seat supports. The problem is a lot of the time I feel like I will fall backward if I lean back. Is it like that for the stock seats? Also, if I buy the stock swivel, how do you attach that to the seat supports and the swivel to a new seat? Thanks. Ok thanks. I think I've decided on the garmin striker 4 dv or the lowrance elite/ hook 3x. If I get one of the lowrances, which one would be better? The elite 3x has dsi and the hook has regular sonar
