  1. I haven't been up there in years, but when we used to vacation there, I used to slay them in the river. The #40 marker was a very good spot. It's at the bend in the river, and there were some laydowns and stumps that held ALOT of smallies. The only fishing I did in Mullet Lake was for Pike and Walleye. Falcon

  13. If you guys don't mind the walk, when you go to Metro Beach, go out to the mouth of the Black Creek and fish off the point. I've caught alot of smallies off that point. Walleyes too. Falcon
  14. I have a Mad N, and a Baby N. Both in Lavender Shad, the smallies here on St. Clair tear them up. Falcon

  18. I always tell my wife, when in doubt, set the hook. Hook-sets are free. Good luck, Falcon
  19. So far, I haven't had any problems with my Red Eye Shad's or Diamond Shad's. After many fish the eyes are still attached. I agree with Bass-Brat, just use a sharpie and color the eyes in. I do it on the baits I make, works fine. Falcon
  20. So far, my Red Eye Shad in Sexy Shad has put alot of nice LMB in the boat. I will be trying it on SMB this weekend. Falcon
  21. I'm a little disappointed in the Pens. Things go sour for them and they turn into a bunch of "Street Thugs". Let's play hockey. Falcon
  22. Lake St. Clair is a very clear lake, so I usually throw white with chrome blades. Falcon
  23. My dad gave me a Helin Flatfish in frog pattern. I caught many bass on that lure. I still have it put away in my museum tackle box. Falcon
  24. In my opinion there is no bad time to fish a spinnerbait. I admit, overcast, breezy days are best, but I catch alot of fish on clear, calm days with a spinnerbait. Falcon
