  4. I'd have to say it's the Shad Rap line of lures. They all produce for me. I never met a Shad Rap I didn't like. Falcon
  5. I'll fish a certain lure until the fish stop hitting it, then try something else. Falcon
  6. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Bass Akwards is right, before long you will have your PHD in bass fishing. Falcon
  7. My Revo SX and SC work great, as well as my Daiwa TD Pro. All three cast light baits with ease. Neither reel will break the bank. Falcon
  8. One of my buddies picked up one of those combos when they first came out. It is a very nice reel, but the rod snapped while fighting a three pound bass. Falcon
  9. I got one in Sexy Shad. I caught a fish on each of my first three casts, and many after that. I've had no swimming or durability issues though. Falcon
  10. Yup, they've outdone themselves this time. #1-Gosder Chererilus- Right Tackle, he might be alright because we needed a good tackle. (time will tell) #2-Jordan Dizon- MLB, WAY TOO SMALL for the position. Under six feet 225 lb. (he'll get squashed) #3-Caleb Campbell- Safety, He can only play two years, because he will have to serve in the Army after that. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING????? Falcon
  11. Hey Fluke, I respectfully have to correct you, They still do fly Huey's. I live one mile from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, and there is an air wing that still flies them from the base. I'm very familiar with Huey's from 'Nam. Falcon
  12. Good old Conjunctivitis. I used to get it all the time when I was a kid. Actually, come to think of it I had it again around Thanksgiving. I feel your pain. It ain't fun. Get better soon, Falcon
  13. No, this weekend will be taken up with family things. I will be uncovering the boat in between all my chasing. I should be ready for next weekend though. I have the batteries charging as we speak. Falcon
  14. Hey Greg, You know where I'll be. There's a spot for you and your dad if you can get down here. Rick
  15. Looks like I'll have to add another X-Rap to my collection. That color looks like it will work great on Lake St. Clair's clear water. I was at BPS last Saturday, they didn't have that color though. Falcon
  16. I started my kids fishing around three, they all loved it. Last Friday my three year old grandson caught his first LMB. I set up his Snoopy pole with a Senko and he tossed it out to the middle of the canal and within thirty seconds he was pulling in an 15" bass. The best advice was make sure they are having fun. Falcon
  17. The X-Rap produces great for me, Spring through Fall. One of my best techniques is a sweep pause, sweep pause. Always hit on the pause. Falcon
  18. The closest Gander Mountain to me (about eight miles) is a big disappointment. About three years ago they down-sized their fishing department. To make things even worse, they are always out of stock on so many items, I try not to even frequent their store. I will say this, they do have a bigger selection than Dick's. There is another store about forty miles from my house that has a MUCH bigger and better stocked fishing department. I don't have a Sportsman's Warehouse near me, so I can't make the comparison. 19. My daughter is an artist/art teacher. My drawing was done on the board. (mechanical drawing) Falcon

  23. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. A '55 Bel-Air for a daily driver.........very cool. I had a '56 and '57 a few years ago. Falcon
  24. I can't say I enjoy it, however I did have one of my best days of the season last Friday. There was a steady rain, and the LMB were tearing-up my Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow (clown). It was a banner day. Falcon
  25. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. I visit Trabuco Canyon on occasion, not too far from you. Falcon
