zoom baby brush hogs?
great baits, in fact there my favorite bait to t-rig.i usually put them on a 3ott ewg gamakatsu superline hook rigged with a 1/8 oz bullet weight, 1/8 is my favorite weight size for these baits, but weight size depends on the amount of current, and the depth at which you are targeting bass, and also your personal preference.these baits are also awesome on a carolina rig, and have also been deadly for me when bass are on the beds.

Red Vs. Plain
this is true, but it depends on many factors.but, the near invisiblity of the red in deep waters means the red hooks are less likely to be seen by the fish

Luhr Jensen Speed Trap
these are great cranks.they have good colors and action, they also deflect off cover better than alot of other cranks on the market.they are a very erratic crankbait.i love em'

Red Vs. Plain
to answer your question honestly, some days i do seem to see more sucess with baits with a red or red hooks, and some days i dont. most of those cases being which that in 90 percent of the bass i caught in that day, they were caught on the red hook, and not on the back hook which was not a bleeding hook.i typically use one red hook on my baits, instead of two.i seem to have more success that way.i will put the bleeding hook as the front hook on things like cranks and poppers, because if they are keying on the red, then they are more likely to get the whole bait if that hook is located in the middle of the bait.but i don't usually use the red hooks anymore, because i did not see a significant enough difference in catch success.hope this helps

berkley chigger craw or yum craw bug ???
i would definitely go with the chigger craw, i use them as trailers alot and i really like them as a trailer or texas or carolina rigged.they're great plastics.the new chigger craw crazy legs looks pretty good to, especially when you may need that extra bit of vibration for situations such as fishing in off colored water

Which of these hosts is the most entertaining??
Zona is more entertaining in my opinion, but I have talked to Iaconelli in person and he is an awesome guy who has a passion for fishing that rivals anyone in the sport, and I think you learn more by watching Iaconelli's show.Although, Zona's is my favorite.

Do-it Molds/Lead tire weights & Screw on Shaky Head Jigs
I just purchased some Do-it molds to make my own football jigheads and shaky head jigs and when reading the intructions they recommended NOT using hard lead such as tire weights. Unfortunately, I didn't know this prior to buying them, and tire weights are my free source of lead. Has anyone had experience using tire weights as a lead source for their molds and if so have you experienced any problems? Also, I purchased a mold for screw on shaky head jigs, but have not been able to find the hooks with the screw on attachment. Anyone know of a source for those? Thanks.

Anyone fished Buggs Island lately?
Hey evertone, just wondering if anyone has had success on Buggs lately. I am looking for some suggestions on what to throw and where to go since I have not fished the lake yet this year and I am fishing my TBF State Championship tourny there this weekend and an FOM tourny there the next. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
