bandit 100's and 200's have been producing well for me lately, chartruese shad and chrome tenn. shad
  2. i have some crucials and i love them, i dont like fenwick's rods, to heavy and not very sensitive. i would go with the crucial.
  3. hey sam, thanks for that info, but anna aint BP48's territory. i'd like to see him try to take me down there, and this tournament is an invitational for the elite anglers of the local trails, and the anglers have been picked by Woods & Waters and the invites are only for the elites, and BP48 was not on the roster. 8-) ;D and i guess he forgot to mention his defeat on his "home water" the pamunkey on tuesday, three to zip, and oh yeah, it was bp48 who had the big ZERO, hehe ;D(i'm just playin ya BP48)
  4. my 6'6'' Loomis GLX, that things a BEAST! ;D 8-)
  5. i'll second that ;D 8-) Speaking of that, Triton9 has a picture from our outing yesterday on the Pamunkey. It is a picture of the front deck of my Xpress with literally a pile of Shimano/Loomis combo's... It was awesome yeah dude it was awesome, the pile was like Mt. Everest ;D 8-)
  6. sorry about the finger :'(, but great job on the win 8-)!
  7. heys guys, just wondering if anyone has fished anna within the last two weeks. i have a tournament there this sunday and i was wondering what is producing. i do very well at anna in the spring but after our tourny there in the spring we go to the james and gaston more. i have only fished anna this time of year once, but caught fish. i was just wondering if you guys could give me some info of whats producing now, because where i catch em' in the spring i knosw is not going to produce much now. i expect the typical fall pattern to play somewhat of a role in your successes, as i would predict that they are now at least moving into the creeks if not all the way into fall mode. thanks for any info you can give
  8. congrats, thats a pretty spot
  9. congrats on the new PB
  10. i voted for the all star because i love my several all stars. i dont particularly like the light and tough rods, ive used them and dont particularly care for them, i have a few all stars and i love them there great rods for the money, heck there just great rods. i would go with the all star becuse of the reliability and durability, and my satisfaction in their rods.
  11. smithwick suspending rrogue and LC pointer 100
  12. for us richmond boys, G-top is the best, its the best tackle shop for finding what you need that ive ever been to, second to Bobcat's in Clarksville, and ive been to ALOT of tackle shops, and G-top blows the doors off of bass pro. ;D
  13. 12-15 pound P-line flourocarbon and seagur invisX flouro in the same pound tests as the P-line
  14. P-line flourocarbon, just their plain flouro, and seaguar invisX
  15. i love bying the bulk spools, its soooo much more convenient than having to buy alot of small spools severaal times, and alot cheaper. i buy mine from tackle warehouse because thats like the only place that offers the bulk spools of what i use.
  16. i love to burn white spinnerbaits over the top over it, i also like to use a ribbit over top or a black buzzbait, theres somethin about that black buzzbait they love. but for plastics i like to flip and pitch stuff like sweet beavers, flappin hogs, baby brush hogs, paca craws and chigger craws. i typically like to use a florida rig weight, but if i use a bullet weight i don't peg it right to the bait, sometimes it messes up the hookset so i just peg it up barely over top the head of the bait. i love flipping to the isolated clumps, never pass em' up, its amazing how many more fish youll catch, but o ther than that flip to the holes in the grass or the edges, or another great spot is where the weedline takes a bend or makes a point, also the random thick patches in the veg. are great spots hope this helps
  17. i dont use a white worm often, but when i do its primarily duruing the spawn, it catches em' prettty good when theyre on the beds, but other than that i hardly ever use them. i use other stuff like white tubes, flukes and stuff with more success though
  18. i love poe's deep cranks, best ive ever used. there is just somethin about em' that catches fish
  19. i use all three but i have to say i catch more fish on zoom stuff than yum and gulp! combined, i really don't like the gulp!, it doesnt seem to catch as many as it sounds like it should, so zoom is my favorite, just because they always outfish my yum or gulp! stuff
  20. Great fish!
  21. good fish, but if you think that is low, have you seen Chesdin , its terrible ! well since you live in northern va you probly havent
