  7. if your going to go samllie fishing anywhere, you need to get yourself some tubes. they are like the gold standard for smallie fishing.to me this pond sounds like a great place to rip a rat-l-trap out of the grass for a reaction bite, and when doing so you will catch both largies and smallies.other good baits could be spinnerbaits, another great smallie bait.jerkbaits are also deadly for smallies.tube colors you should purchase are dark colors mostly(like green pumpkins, browns)or any other color that resembles a crawfish.but you also want to pick yourself up some white ones and some chartreuse ones, at times these are deadly.as far as jigheads go you should pick up ones anywhere from 1/4 oz to 1/2 oz, maybe 3/4, because sometimes fall speed makes a huge difference.good rat-l-trap colors are blue/chrome,craw patterns or any baitfish pattern, and do yourself a favor with these traps, repalce the hooks, beacuse the stock hooks are terrible.you might want to also repalcee the back treble with a Sureset hook, you'll get more hookups.if you have any more questions just shoot me a PM ;)hope this helps
  8. i would have to say my top two are a berkley powerbait chigger craw and a craw tube of which i don't know the name of the company who makes it, but they sure do catch fish ;D

i wouldnt reccomend bying one, i bought 10 at a local tackle shop this year when they were on sale. after three days of fishing, all ten lips had broken off of them, and this is just regular use.i have since then tryed them again and the two i bought, were another sad story same thing happened. it has happened to my dad and papa to, other people on the forum have probably had better expieriences with them but i wouldnt advise buying one, but the again thats just my experiance with them, hope this helps

  22. tie between my Chronarch 50mg's and my Curado 100D's,or any of my Chronarch's for that matter.
  23. i'd have to say that Bandit is my fav crankbait co. i have caught more fish on bandit cranks then any other cranks i have ever used COMBINED. bandits are a mainstay in my arsenal. my fav. bandit model would have to be either the 100 or 200 series. great cranks all around, they're cheap, and they perform as well if not better then 90% of the expensicve cranks i have tried. give the ol' Bandits a try.
