Mostly foreigners, but also locals. These are people that fish with live bait and are from the catch&cook fraction. Bass are not stocked, so every bass that is caught by these people, is a bass less in the lake. We fully understand , we have the same problems in Cyprus >

Can not say a bad word about them. I cought a lot of fish with these spinnerbaits.

Not a good day today as the dam was under pressure the whole week from a bass club from Russia however I manage to catch this nice 5lb... Hopefully i will see her next year when she will be over 7lb

I lost my new PB yesterday! :'( The fish was about 4kg and 65cm long! That's the biggest bass I have ever seen around here! I was fishing with a Javallon 160 and didn't set hook right. The fish came off about 2m in front of me! :'( I couldn't continue fishing after that. Bad luck. I lost some fish last year on the same bait as well

My last PB was 4.85lb. Since May 2007 i cought around 25 bass very close to this figure and today was the day to break it!! I arrived at the dam early am 5am. After having a hot coffee i started searching with a jerkbait. After a 1/2 hour without any action i saw topwater action very close to shore. I cast at the point where i saw the action and .... 5.5lb Until 9:30am i cought another two 2lb on creature baits. i was very happy for breaking my pb but then i heard the bad news on my way to the car from some carp fishermen. Someone using fishing nets directly over the bass spawing area manage to catch a lot of 7-10kg carp as well as 2.5kg bass and a couble of zanders. Unfurtunately the situation in my country with illegal fishing is out of control especially this year as the water level is the lowest of the last 10 years. This is what is happening on daily basis :'( :'(, see also the water line and how low is the dam...
