  1. I use trick worms and the roboworm fat straight tail worms for my shakey head setup. I also just started to use the reaction innovations flirt and I am impressed with its results so far.
  2. To be honest with you I was everywhere on that lake. I fished the north and south end along with the narrows. I usually started up north with topwater and moved south as the sun came up and targeted docks. I caught most of my fish on a frog and jig but I did get on a swimbait bite and a buzzbait bite as well. And of course the senko worked well to.
  3. Nice fish man. Where was your tournement held at?
  4. Last week was one of the best weeks of my life. To start the week off my new basscat was delivered to my house on monday. two days later my My dad and I head of to the delta to break the new boat in .Fishing wasn't amazing but I did get a nice 6.5lb bass on a swimbait as the the first fish in the new boat. The next day we headed off to Clear Lake for 8 days. The first day we got there at around 4 so we only had a short time to fish. The next day I fished jigs and frogs for most of the day I got a six on a frog and a 7-14 on a jig along with a bunch of 3,4,and 5 lb fish. The next day was just as good during the day, and since it was so good we decided to go night fishing. We killed them out there. Almost every other cast we got a fish from 2-5lbs. Then at around 10:45 I set the hook on a good fish my dad scoops her into the net and she weighed 8-02. THen a couple of minutes later I hook into another good fish that weighed 9-02lbs. We ended up with a 30-07lb 5 bass limit. For the rest of the week i caught hundreds of fish from 2-5 lbs, but for some reason couldn't get the big bite. We caught the fish on frogs, swimbaits, senkos, and big worms. All in all it was an awesome week and a great way to break in the new boat. The amazing thing about this lake though was that even with all the time we were up at Clear Lake we never got one fish under two and a half pounds, how cool is that. Heres a picture of the 7-14 Heres a picture of the nine and eight Heres the new boat
  5. If your problem is knot slippage with braid there are two things you can do. One is to super glue your knot the other is you can leave a longer tag end then you would normally so the knot can sinch tight with the extra length of tag line.
  6. When I was ridin in a rangerz20 when ever we hit a wave we got sprayed really bad.
  7. There all great boats. The ranger is nice boat, has a lot of bells and whistles, but they don't go very fast, and your going to get wet when runnin down the lake. Tritons are a great boat as well they're fast and stable. The only thing with triton is that I have heard some horror stories about there hull cracking preety bad and triton not backing up their product. Basscats are awesome. There all quality, family made, smothest ride I've ever expirienced and a great all around boat. I've never heard any negative comments about bass cat and thats why they have been #1 in customer satisfaction 3 years in a row. Hope this helps and good luck with your decision.
  8. Gotta go with the sweet beaver in big texan.
  9. Awesome Fish man!!! If you keep this streak of huge fish up you'll have 100 dd's in no time.
  10. Nice fish man. Where you working that bait fast or slow when you caught that fish?
  11. Revenge jigs are a very high quality jig and you won't be dissapointed with them. You might also want to look at Dandy Baits jigs they are great jigs as well.
  12. Try night fishing.
  13. Heres a pic of that toad
  14. 6" straight tail roboworms in any color.
  15. I got a 9-13 on an osprey swimbait.
  16. I love throwin a B.D.S. 4 in a spring craw.
  17. Awesome fish man. Just to let everyone know the resevoir he is fishing is one of the toughest places to catch a fish in northern califonia. Keep up the good work.
  18. I thought it couldn't get any better than it has been at the delta. I was wrong. Today started out miserable with a steady cold rain and some wind. The first big bite came on a 3:16 bluegill. She ended up being 5lbs. 1 oz. the second fish 3lbs 7oz. came on the same bait. This last fish scared the crap out of me when she inhaled my osprey swimbait at the boat. I was stoked when I finally weighed her. She weighed 9lbs. 13oz. Wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I got to go back to the CA Delta today had had a great day. The morning was slow but as the temperature warmed up, so did the action. The first decent fish of the day was this 4 pounder. After that fish we were about to leave and made a couple more cast when this 8lb. 6oz. hog crushed my swimbait. Here's another shot. Another awesome day on the Delta.
  20. I finally got my first swimbait fish ever yesterday. I was at the CA delta and on my third cast I land this 6.5lb fish. A couple minutes later i got another bite on the swimbait. This one went 4.8lbs. After that fish I set the hook into a big fish but it came off. Oh well :'(. Ended up with around 20lbs for five fish. I was using a 3:16 mighty minnow on a lamiglas 797 flippin stick with a revo stx spooled with 65lb power pro. All in all it was a great day on the delta. ;D
  21. I use a pointer 100 in aurora black and a 128 in ghost minnow most of the time.
  22. My personal best was a 10lb. 1oz. caught on a white frog.
  23. All I can say about this fish is WOW. Here are some more pictures of the fish.
  24. Reaction Innovation's Vixen. It calls fish up like no other bait I've ever seen. It also has three hooks whick gives you a better shot at hooking a fish that just slap at the bait.
  25. Roboworm for sure.
