i dont really like the ideah that the fish are atracted to the sound and not how well you fishing that day, seems cheap :-/

as long as your carefull thats not an issue, i have a 6'6 peice of crap rod and i stuff it in the back seat of a 90's toyota corolla. I had another rod that lenth, also a peice of crap, eagle claw i believe and it fit fine

I totally agree my second pb was cought on a $20 eagle claw spining combo, current pb was on the ugly stick spining rod with a baitcasting reel. And after an ugly stick anything should be better

I think i made out awsome today, thanks to the not so knowledgeble folks at k mart i walked away with a qauntum vapor medium 6.6 foot extra fast tip rod for 18.99. The rod itself feels and looks great!!! Anyone own a quantum rod? never used one before buts i cant wait. Btw that was a good deal right?? i didnt buy a peice of crap rod did i?

Anyone use or know hwat a gee minnow trap is?? I bought one from the store becuase in stupid nj they dont sell shiners year round, and the fisherman in the store sugested trying the trap. I threw it in the water with crackers in it and left it for an hour or so and no luck. Maybe its the crakers sisnce they got wet and came out. Any advice??

i absolutly agree im gonna try bigger lakes where water temps are higher than small ponds because i just got back and threw everyhing i had for abosolutly no bites
