  1. For dead sticking i like too use senkos and gulp earthworms 5 inches and up. Ive cought most of my bass this way period, but like road said the big one's to tend to hit it more when dead sticking. I think the larger smater bass will go for somthing freshly wounded or dying instead of somthing that will require a chase, imo that why dead sticking works well. Ive only cought one bass in the 4lb range that hit somthing moving. Than agian i fish plastic worms 90 percent of the time :-/
  2. Where does butch brown live? Just want to know where my future home will be ;D
  3. heres my pb. Caught her yesterday on a t-rigged 6 inch red and black senko. Sorry for crappy resolution but you get the point. Like a said before i think thers nothing better than a good old texas rigged worm
  4. I couldnt funtion normally without my little pond around the corner from my house. I love the fishing, the location, and the people are great too, they rush up and tell you what a great catch it ia even when it's a dink!!!
  5. From what little I've learned from bass fishing Tv shows and my own experience I like to use a nice big plastic, prefebly a worm 6 inches and up. Thats not to say every once and a while the 1lb dink wont slam it but I've had good luck with big plastics In ponds. I like either dual toned worms, two darker colors red and black or black and blue are good, senkos konami's ect. Also I've had great luck with 6 inch Berkely gulp earthworms baged not jars in either flesh colored or pumkin seed . A big bass is older and knows that a worm in the water is a helpess tasty meal, no energy is wasted just scooping him up as opposed to chasing a shiner or other baitfish. Also I fish them all seasons with success t riged to a tiny skirtless jig draggin and twitching it along the bottom. Try it out let me know what you think!!
  6. If your looking for a partner i live in Nj, what part of nj are you from? I want to start fishing in tourneys also but im void of a boat. If you dont have a partner message me ill kick in for boat and any other expences

  9. I was just fishing at my favorite little pond getting nibbles no takers though, when all of a sudden a very heavy feeling bass struck my bait. My pole bent almost completly in half ( keep in kind it was a cheapo pole wich i'll pay for later) I hear a cracking from my pole and reel. After a little bit of fighting my reel finally gives out but he close enough to shore to pull the line by hand. As i reach down looking at a real nice bass he gives a kick of his tail and snaps my line like mint dental floss. After all that nonsense i realized i still had alot of fun and figured i'd share it with the folks on br forums and have other stories told....so and good fish that got away stories?
  10. I dont have a scale or ruler didnt think i was gonna catch much at this pond anyway, but i cought a decent one. How much does anyone estimate this bass to weigh?
